92.4 QB rating
There it is! The gold standard for QB's on this board. Ignore the TD's. Ignore the lack of INT's. Its that completion % that means everything! lol.
Well I think it is hard to look at stats and not look at wins and losses and to this date JG has one SEC win. Now not all of those are on him but a QB is judged on wins and losses more than yards thrown per game.
Except he didn't beat GT, QD did
In response to topic name:
Anyone can get the ball out quickly. The real thing is quickly knowing where to quickly get it out to!!
That's JG's problem.
Maybe you will stop twisting facts some day but I doubt it.
KC made the reads and decisions faster. He made more consistently good reads. Sometimes the best play is an incompletion.
Youāre just so completely warped with your idol worship that you canāt admit anyone does anything better than JG or that he has significant weaknesses in this department
He actually reclassified himself with the recruiting services to draw more attention
You don't score over 90 on the QB scale if you play bad the 2nd half of a game. coaches put KC under center and decided to run the ball the 2nd half. Why? I don't know unless they were trying to limit more injuries at QB since they didn't know the extent of JG's injury.
Can we drop the myth that he is a Dual Threat? He has taken 40 sacks and is a career -89 rusher
Jarrett Guarantano
Stop with that. He had MORE ATTEMPTS in the second half. He had two good drives period. Then he had several he didn't do anything on. The TWO drives were great. He started with a great rating. Then it dropped. That is a very simple concept to understandThey don't give out QB ratings over 90 for just 1 quarter. That grade is for the entire time he was in the game. Can't help it if the coaches put him under center and ran the ball the 2nd half.

He had more attempts the second half. He had just as many drives throwing the ball in the second half as the first before they Just went to handing off. He wasn't good. No excuse.
2 sacks per game this year for JG. Let's stop trying to find some new agenda driven narrative to bash JG. Yes he had a ton last year. 2 per game this year.
Lmao. Y'all are funny. It's sad really.
But let's act like he hasn't improved a ton this year.
So good training would be watching two quarters of a qb where one quarter was even worse than his versus a less tougher situation? LolHis passing accuracy has improved a great deal but he still can't find his secondary receivers, can't avoid the rush or should I say can't see the rush and according to the coaches he still has trouble checking off at the line.
Bottom line he needs to learn. And KC is the one he should be watching. For KC is not all that quick but he sees the field and gets the pass off. And you can't learn watching someone in practice. That said the 2 quarters that KC was allowed to throw the ball would be good training film for JG to watch.

KC threw two TD's against Bama. JG didn't/couldn't.So good training would be watching two quarters of a qb where one quarter was even worse than his versus a less tougher situation? Lol
KC does none of those things that JG needs to improve on better. Not once when they have talked about JG improving have they said KC was better or JG should watch him to learn a skill.
If he was such a great decision maker he wouldn't be a a 54% passer who can't even get 1000 in a season or keep a job.
He had a great drive and a half. Great."He wasn't good." Well he put 2 TD's on the board so what does that say about JG who put 0 TD's on the board? And you are a fool if you think they give out QB ratings over 90 to QB's that "wasn't good" for a half of football.
How old are you... 5?

JG put us in scoring position. He would have had one. Probably the second one too.KC threw two TD's against Bama. JG didn't/couldn't.
Not one has said that. Show a link. Some have talked about JG improving. He is in his first year starting full time. Of course he needs to improve. You are 5 yrs old aren't you? And the sports writers are all saying that JG does not have the intangibles and KC does. And KC was a great QB before his injury. And finally why are you so defensive of JG? Are you dating him?
Two sacks per game. Big time improvements over last year. What's the stat concerning blitz pickups and pre snap audibles to a better play or more protection? Seeing the field and feel for the game is an intangible.
Zero. The same amount JG thew against Alabama. How many TD's did JG throw against Florida? Or ETSU?JG put us in scoring position. He would have had one. Probably the second one too.
Pruitt and Saban both said they finally made adjustments on that driveand it caught them off balance.
Its also a lot easier to throw two tds if you play 3 quarters of a game versus one. So how many did KC throw versus Auburn?![]()
