Thanks. The good thing is that, even if we had been breached by the storm inside the house (we weren't), the kitchen is stripped out and the whole place is down to the subfloors. The bad news is I am afraid it will be hard to get it fixed now due to demand. We had kitchen cabinets and floors ordered from Panama City, and have no idea where we now stand. As it turned out, we would have been better off if we had left it like it was. We may not be able to use it for some time.I’m going the last 3 weeks of December and will be helping out where I can.
Sliceville survived unharmed so I’ll have so time if you need a contractor who’s willing to pitch in at your place

This is all because of Trump and his hate spewing idiot mouth. Notice all of the packages/explosives were sent to people who he nearly constantly condemns. Dollars to doughnuts when they catch the person responsible he is a Trump loving gun toting idiot.
If that does prove to be the case, the conspiracy theorists on the right will just resort back to denigrating the FBI and questioning their integrity while insisting they have a politically motivated agenda in making Republicans look bad. This is all because of Trump and his hate spewing idiot mouth. Regardless of affiliation whoever did this is a ****** person. If that does prove to be the case, the conspiracy theorists on the right will just resort back to denigrating the FBI and questioning their integrity while insisting they have a politically motivated agenda in making Republicans look bad.
Facts could slap them across the face and it wouldn't matter. If that does prove to be the case, the conspiracy theorists on the right will just resort back to denigrating the FBI and questioning their integrity while insisting they have a politically motivated agenda in making Republicans look bad.
Also, the package sent to CNN was addressed to John Brennan but he is a contributor to MSNBC. He has made a few guest appearances on some CNN shows in the past but for the most part, he doesn't even work there. Even when he appears on MSNBC, it's rarely from the studio. Not exactly a professional job of trying to take someone out. Some initial thoughts and questions on this after perusing the various news sites...
1. What was the detonation mechanism? One reason the Unabomber was so scary was the detonation mechanism he used (opening the package) and the fact the packages tended to look very valid. This envelope is a textbook example of a suspicious package which doesn't appear to have any detonation mechanism. Odd.
2. The target list. Okay, I'd dare say anyone knows or darn well should know Presidents receive Secret Service protection for life. That's a common known fact. Does a person just think President Obama pops on out to the mailbox in his loafers sorting the junk mail next to the road?
2A. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. Odd on this one. She was disgraced and removed from her position. She holds no power within the Democratic Party at this time. She's been relatively quiet since getting removed. She doesn't make sense from a target standpoint.
2B. Maxine Waters. Yet another odd one. She gives conservatives more ammo (figure of speech, guys, bear with me) than the rest of the DNC combined. She's a walking, talking billboard for getting people out to vote against her. Again, she doesn't make sense. Sometimes you want the idiots alive to help your cause than see them martyred.
3. The device itself is crude and as the Tweets pointed out, screams amateur. If someone was to really be serious about this, they sure as hell wouldn't construct such a device in my opinion.
4. Let me predicate this by saying "good." But out of the half dozen known devices none of them detonated? None of them were controlled detonated by EOD experts except the Soros one? That's the preferred method or at least it used to be when dealing with a package bomb that has an unknown trigger mechanism. I may be wrong on this, so someone correct me if I'm wrong.
5. The CNN one was opened and in fairly pristine condition. Who opened it and why? And how were the pictures available to the public so quickly? A mere hours after the incident? That dog doesn't hunt.
6. Why did Pelosi and Schumer immediately jump to the partisan track instead of unifying with Trump? Wouldn't you think, even in an election year, the Party's main spokes-folks would be calling for calm and unity rather than trying to get their 30 second soundbites. And furthermore, denouncing their own Party members for veiled calls for violence. This transcends politics at the moment and they should be glad Trump came out so quickly against it. Furthermore, agreeing with him for a change.
TL; DR version
There are some pretty significant questions which are unanswered already. And more likely to come in the next few days.
