I usually stay out of fray and just read the post (not just in this forum but all) because my opion is usually posted....but...how could all of these packages be discovered in such a short time frame? All show up at the same time, literally in a 2 hour window.

Probably in the 99th percentile, considering the rest. Just a little soffit blown off and a little aluminum facia wrap twisted loose. There are missing houses a couple hundred yards away. Most of them directly on the beach have 8 feet of sand washed away from underneath them. Now they are 20 feet in the air (instead of 12) with no stairs. They have to get a really big ladder to get in. I feel very fortunate.

I think we missed the eastern eyewall by about 10 miles as it passed by. It was still extremely strong on the Cape. Still no running water or sewer for several more weeks. The storm surge tore the sewer and water lines out of the ground , and destroyed the road going in.
