I’ll agree Chryst has better presence, but he also has only played in blowout situations when the pass rush/blitz packagesand scheme are greatly different.

In my opinion the throw was not bad and would have been a completion if Calloway had turned his head sooner and adjusted his route. The receiver's should have been doing that anyway with the pressure Alabama was bringing from the beginning.

But let's be honest, yes JG gets hit a lot and gets back up. But he needs to beef up. He seems to overacting and be dramatic when he gets hit...or he is soft...

Seems to me Pruitt was trying to send a message to JG to keep him on his toes. If he isn't going to perform or show value to his team, he may get benched. If he gets knocked out and has to go to the sideline, he may get outplayed and be benched...either man up and/or get your line to play better. We can't go out and play defeated. Pruitt has said constantly that we are trying to build a culture.

Just a quick observation. G is very slow with his reads if he even does that. He looks like he stares down his intended WR. Yes, the O-Line sucks but it looks like G holds the ball too long.
C looks more poised. Goes through his reads quicker and picks up blitzes quicker.

Pruitt has praised jg many times for going through his reads on the coaching shows, quit trying to build that strawman it just doesnt hold up.

I'm not sure why some of these guys cannot understand this. The Vols have some good skill position players, but the Oline is well below average and it all starts up front.

That's unfortunate.... I think he'll develop into a good one.... especially if they can get an Oline in front of him. I hope it's nothing serious

And this class Pruitt has emphasized on the line of scrimmage and secondary for this class. Two of our biggest needs

I know I should not bring politics into this but for the people that cannot see the difference it is like trying to argue with an Antifa member. There is just not a whole lot of intelligence there to work with.
