Over the last few years, I think Ohio State and Clemson are the only two who really beat Alabama. I thought both of those teams were actually the better team.the scary part is that in each of those games, they still could have won each one of them.
not to be all pessimistic, but we got no shot this weekend...lol.
sure, i'll buy that. CLemson is the only ones though that have consistently had the LOS players you need to compete consistently with them.Over the last few years, I think Ohio State and Clemson are the only two who really beat Alabama. I thought both of those teams were actually the better team.
Just got offered two tickets to the game. I’m torn. Of course my 5 year old in his innocence will want to go thinking the Vols should win every game they play. Go and enjoy being there with him vs exposing him to the potential whipping. Thoughts?
“Not that bad” is a compliment to a 3rd tier broadcast team...not a MNF slot. ESPN swung for the fences like Fox and CBS did previously and aren’t getting the same benefit. From watching their local commercials and interviews, I wasn’t enthusiastic about Aikman or Romo and I was way off...they’re stars. Witten had a weekly segment on the Ticket and never seemed that much into it, so I had a similar premonition on this one...so far I’m not that wrong. You’re right about his knowledge, but the SELLING of said wisdom takes more precedence in prime time imo. He doesn’t ruin the broadcast and there have been some fun games, so maybe he grows into it.I guess I watch alot of Monday night games with the volume low as I am going to bed. But, I haven't thought he's been that bad. Always room to grow, but I think his football knowledge is clear.
I remember even Saban himself said after the 14 game against Ohio State that he felt like Ohio State had control the entire game. Even when Bama jumped out like 21-3 or whatever it was.sure, i'll buy that. CLemson is the only ones though that have consistently had the LOS players you need to compete consistently with them.
OSU capitalized on some mistakes by Bama, and made some huge plays down field. not that that shouldn't count for something, no one really does that against them either....at least to the point where it means you win the game....
i just felt like in both years Clemson and Bama played in the NT game, they were very competitive games where it matters.

Or Ziti. He hasn't even logged in since June 25. Did he lose a ban bet or something?
