1. Charlotte. Win. Surprising on defense though.

2. Vandy. Tough game. Should win in Knoxville.

3. South Carolina. Single possession game.

4. Kentucky: I’m waiting for KY to collapse. A twisted ankle for Snell and the dream is over. As is, maybe a tough game.

5. Mizzou: has beaten nobody. Bama shut down Lock. We were awful against WV, but that’s experience against a similar offense. I think we will be ready to go.

6. Bama: See thread
I agree with this. I just don’t trust our offense in a “shootout” yet, which is why I have Mizzou as a (probable) loss rn. Definitely think we’ll do a much better job vs their offense than Wvu’s tho. UK and Scar are both toss ups to me, leaning more towards a W vs Scar

Really think it's possible we can get to 7 wins if there are no further major injuries.
I really think a lot of it is the staff gelling and adjusting and the players understanding their assignments and playing faster.

Example: Helton on the sidelines seemed to be a needed adjustment we didn’t know we needed. Every single week, we are figuring these things out

Same thing can be seen with Florida

Love the hand gestures. He is doing his job. It's like he's saying, "well what do you want me to say? I am pretty familiar with our opponent after all."

I kept waiting for him to say “we’re” when talking about Bama. I know he wouldn’t, but it was weird thinking that.

Anybody see the SEC network segment where they were ranking SEC head coaches based on who do the most damage in a brawl? Spears had Pruitt at the top of his list lol. It's nice having a head football coach who's more than likely able to scrap. Butch Jones would have been all the way at the bottom for me.

Every pitcher is using something to help grip the ball. The Astros won't say anything because their guys are doing the same.

The problem is game 1 Boston had the umpires inspect Machetes glove...Boston started the Bush league stuff and deserves to have this investigated

Dave Neal has been calling SEC games for almost 30 years... He was on the Jefferson pilot broadcast back in the day and rolled in the noon slot on sec network..
It makes me wonder if he just wants the early games. Makes sense as to why he hasn’t elevated up to be the 1st or 2nd guy in the SEC.

It has its perks. Done early. Get to sleep in your own bed most Saturday nights, and/or watch the late games as a spectator. I get it.

Almost always running on 1st down – The Concept – according to Ainge:

He related a story from his days where a player would say to Fulmer or Cutcliffe, “Coach, they know what we’re going to do.” The response back was “who cares?” The idea is that our guys really know and the other guys only think they know. Our guys are being challenged to man-up, be physical, and beat the guy on the other side of the line. It’s why our first step is so important. The basic concept is not that we’re going to outsmart other teams; the concept is we’re going to line up and beat them.

Our guys on the offensive line are evidently not yet convinced that they can consistently beat the guys on the other side of the ball but they are not going to get any relief. The style of football we want to play demands that they figure that out and get it done because the offense’s success or lack thereof is not ever going to be lifted from their shoulders, not with this staff.

Money quote from Fulmer back on December 7, 2017.

“It’s hard to be cute and win in this conference,” Fulmer said. “And as you can tell, Coach is not a very cute guy.”

Pretty impressive considering AT is still learning to play the position. Thompson is getting the love from VN but AT has been our best defensive back all year. Have a feeling this guy will be Pruitts first 1st round draft pick.

Love TaeTay

Obviously, we are all feeling better about November, but specifically, I feel my confidence vs. Mizzou rising quickest.

Early this year, I thought they were built to beat us, but our defense has tightened up well... especially the secondary.
Kentucky, of all teams, may actually be the one built to beat us. Pass D is solid, but our DL still loses too much ground at the point of attack. Will be a game where it would be nice to get an early lead.

Do teams even throw at Alontae? I don't feel like you ever see them throw to his side
I’m pretty sure he would have been the one toasted if 81 had caught that ball for a TD. He was chasing him like he made a mistake, and Shamburger was trying to get over there to account for the mess up. Just what I saw, but he’s still playing at a high level for a true FR.
