Saying they had 5 home fields in 99 was a Spurrier. You know the comment, "we had 5 home stadiums, if you count Jacksonville's Alltel Stadium." :the_finger:

yeah but that was like almost 10 years ago...i think even we either laugh at or have gotten over most of the stuff spurrier said

It'd be easy to figure out if VY is the franchise quarterback or not. Go out and make a deal for Anquin Bolden (sp). He's a #1 quality receiver,and you immediately take away the excuse that Young has no one to throw to. And then see what happens.

I think maybe thats whats frustrating many Titan fans. It's not just the bad passing situation, but the perception that nothing drastic is being done to fix it.

They won't get bolden though. They showed w/ mcnair that they dont go out and get big time wrs till the qb is able to succeed with the terrible ones they put around him

Also the titans cut roydell williams who tied for their leading receptions last year and was second in yards....wow, i thought this was the only wr on the team who would at all be decent in the future...guess that dropped open touchdown in the denver game hurt more than we thought it would

this also leads me to wonder, if it were possible, would the titans just replace all their wrs with lineman and just run every play


another note on the roydell thing, he might file grievances through the nflpa against the titans:

Lol Jags once again find a way to a Titan's team with no offense and VY gets hurt.... wow the Titan's run defense was impressive.

You know who else was impressive? Chris Johnson.

and now some excuses about a beat up o-line? Just admit that a defense that will be in the top 5 at the end of the year had a good game and leave it at that.

It really got me tickled at the end when Haynesworth ended the game with a sack on a 3-man rush. Was great and was just a summary of the day.

This is one of the best front four I've seen.. LBs are great against the run as well... pass defense is the only small weakness since our defense takes so many chances.

Said the same thing. The title of the story on jacksonville.com says "Ground Hog Day" and boy isn't that the truth.
