Mizzou won’t beat us. Their defense is terrible first of all. Second, yes they have a good QB, but in case you haven’t noticed, no QBs have done anything against us since Grier. And this is a different team than the team that played Grier. Unlike then, we aren’t having major busts in the secondary. Also unlike then, we actually have a pass rush. Grier had all day against us to pick us apart, Lock won’t. We’ll win that game.

Their D-Line and LBs are pretty solid IMHO.

Drew Richmond had a day where he wasn't noticed.

That's an improvement. No penalties. No blown assignments. Solid.

Agreed.

The biggest thing yesterday did for me was give me real confidence that our offesne is going to be good enough a year from now to win 8 games. The future finally looks bright on offense. However yesterday did next to nothing to make me think Helton is a going to be a guy that makes us better than we are. Yesterday was all about play makers making plays and very little about coaching on offense imo.

Safe to say it's all a work in progress.

Yesterday was a huge step as far as play making goes.

I didn't think helton was great, especially on 1 St down.

But they pushed the ball down field and players rewarded him (and us) with big time results, in the biggest moments.

And at the end of the day...

That is the difference between winning and losing in this league.
