UT Nationally Valid AGAIN! Pruitt is MORE than we asked for!

I personally like the white board kicking. Pruitt has that inner fire. You are starting to see his team take on his personality.

Really? You like your coach acting like a little brat? Good coaches don't just hit boards. They stay collected when they are down, and pull out of the hole they got dug into and instill confidence in the team by making a series of good decisions afterwards. Nothing wrong with the coach being angry, but a that point, your coach signaled to us that the game is essentially over and he is in way over his head.

I like it a coach with a little emotion. As a player it would have fired me up to play harder.

Your coach literally almost fought Derek Mason like 24 hours ago

People on this board are crazy, previously we had people acting like it would take us 10 years to get back to the top. Some said Tennessee will never be competitive again. Some said Pruitt wasn't the man for the job. Them were all vast overreactions and way over the top. And now a few are saying we are a national power again, now I think we get there it due time. I think we will at least compete for SEC championships again, but we are not a national power yet. Let's stop the one extreme or the other and concentrate on what is actually happening. We are a team in transition that is slowly improving but lacks depth and needs more in a few critical positions. OL being the most obvious, still in baby steps we are getting better there. JG played his best game yesterday, players are slowly buying in and this win was huge. But no we haven't arrived, and next week is going to be tough, but the back half of the schedule we have the potential to compete and win if we can survive any major injuries at critical spots. Good times are ahead, just be willing to ride the coaster while we get there. A bowl game is a real goal and a attainable one. GBO!!!!!

Mason approached his injured player, then instigated the UF sideline which prompted a response. Yes he was angry, because he will not accept any bullying from the other side. And the difference is ? Mullen was down by 11 points, he goes on to score 27 more points and win by 10. Hitting a board infront of your team like a loser is very different from fighting back at the other coach who is instigating you.

If he was wrong it wouldn't take a paragraph to 'xplain.

Head Coach Jeremy Pruitt just completed the most rapid turnaround of a program in football history. I had my doubts and secretly hoped for other big name coaches. It took Meyers, Saban, and others much longer than the 6 games this man needed to get back on the college football map. Even Pruitt himself thought it would take longer! I hoped for Frost but he is 0-6 in a WEAK conference.

Two thoughts:
1. It feels good to be a national power again
2. I wish we could play Florida again since the turnaround
The most rapid turn around.....by winning one game?

you're getting ahead of yourself here
While I am excited about the W....this is just a bit premature. We played a good game, we have improved throughout the year...but to say we are nationally relevant??? It was our first win vs. SEC team since 2016....so let's just enjoy the W and look forward to continuing to watch the team improve.

Negavols in abundance.

I knew there'd be naysayers but how can anyone ignore the adjustments made since the white board hissy fit kicking incident 2 weeks ago compared to yesterday?

No Negavol here...just realism and not delusional....we are improving....but we are NOT a nationally relevant team. Getting into the top 25 and staying there (heck, even the top 30) will be national relevance.

Don't see anything that suggests you improved enough to beat us. We've beaten two ranked teams since we beat you, and both teams had beaten Auburn this season. Your win is a combination of UT improving at the QB position and Auburn regressing and really becoming awful at this point in time. Congrats on the win, but it is your first SEC win in a long time. So calm down and do not take Missouri / Vandy or South Carolina lightly.

Your meatloaf coach almost got throttled by Mason after your player took a cheap late shot (aka Florida Football)

Feel free to grab your jorts, comb your mullet, and see yourself out.

Lawgator is cool and adds to the discussion. You are not and do not. Leave.

We needed the win, CP delivered; however, he is still saddled with boy butch's team, far too many champions of life. No doubt Coach Pruitt is getting it done, and getting us turned around. I hope yesterday will quiet down the naysayers for a few weeks, but as we all know, if we'd have won by 50 points they'd still find a problem with our coach. I see a better season than most thought was possible, and a Great Tennessee season next year.

Not here to lick your boots and tell you you are great. I'd love to see our rivalry become relevant nationally again and UGA going back to being irrelevant. Both UF and UT have long ways to go.

We should be ranked NOW.
We're better than Auburn, UCF, Notre Dame, and Kentucky.
