For the first time in a long time, UF seemed to start the year filled with self-doubt. They looked vulnerable, headed into a hostile environment. A lot of UF fans were prepared to lose in Neyland. The stage was set for a UT win. But few teams in the country are as self-flagellating as the Vols. They made themselves lose. Will be interesting to see how they play against Auburn after the bye.

Make them kick FGs and don't give up a defensive score and we have a real shot into the 4th qt. Game stays well under 40 imo.

16-13 coin flip winner

I think what makes this KY team different than your typical KY team is their physicality. They've matched every team they've played from a physical standpoint. Are they the most talented team on the field each week? Definitely not but they are matching up from a physical standpoint. We'll see if that continues but to this point they seem to be a pretty darn good team.

I wish the Vols were on KY's level this year. The rebuild would be quicker. All JMO.

Credit to UK and Stoops-- the Cats are playing with a lot of physicality, grit and determination. The Vols often lack that-- but it's not impossible to change. The Vols could play tougher, smarter, with a lot more physicality. UT has players who're not focused, lack discipline and give up on plays. The poor execution has led to a lack of trust, and that puts us in a vicious cycle. UT is out-talented by a lot of SEC teams, but our players take us out of games. When other teams are given opportunities to capitalize on our mistakes, they take them.

Tough football always whoops finesse football. UK is playing tough football. Pruitt hasn't been able to shake off all the finesse from the Butch Jones era just yet.

I am not sure I would quite call MSU a success yet. Their fans are not happy losing to UK and UF. They still have a tough schedule left. This was the first time I have seen a majority of a game, and they have no passing threat. But you are correct that a QB like a Dobbs can make up for that. Even if we had a QBlike that, I am not sure this staff would run him that many times.

Fitzgerald isn’t accurate enough, nor does he make reads quick enough, for the RPO offense that Moorhead ran at Penn State.

UF benefits from a strong belief system. They have swag. UT stoked their confidence and now they're playing with the feeling they can beat anybody. UK is much improved, but hold that pedestal. The Aggies didn't play well last night, yet they controlled that game. UK has been riding a wave of confidence, but they have more want-to than talent and speed.
And I really think ky's qb played his worse game of the year. That hurts their D also.

I figured his offense could get better with a better passer, but Fitzgerald ran 28 times. Frankly, it appeared to me like an old style offense as opposed to new. I know Auburn’s offense struggled, but I was surprised they couldn’t stop Fitzgerald and load the box.

😂 preliminaries in UFC

Dude just knocked this Russian out and took his shorts off in the octagon.

Joe Rogan asked him “why you take your shorts off?”

“Man my balls were hot” 😂😂😂😂😂
Should have just said DN dropped mic and walked like McGregor out of there arms swinging like chimpanzee.

Stidham looked like a tackling dummy at the end. He would take one look and then crumple into the fetal position. Have posted before I have never like Mahlzahn's O. Too simplistic as well stud DT QB and timing dependent. SEC DC's figured it out a few years ago. Keep their D out on the field like UGA did us with ball control and wear them down. Beat Auburn.

USCe does not win that game without rain and lightening intervention. Mizzou lost the game, USCe did not win that game. USCe is really beatable if you stop Deebo. None of their players dominate other than him. Their OC reminded me of Helton. That's not a good thing. Wake up Helton, beat USCe.

UK's QB and receivers were not ready for prime time. The QB had the deer in the headlights look - he was intimidated with the game and environment. His receivers did nothing to help him when he scrambled out of the pocket. Make the QB feel pressured, contain him, stop Snell - stop UK. It will take our lines playing big boy football, but our skill players and ST's are better overall.

Mizzou's D is really bad, especially the secondary at 3-4 positions. Their receivers are mediocre as well. Focus on Lock and the RB with pressure. Don't take the foot off the scoring accelerator. Beat Mizzou.

No analysis needed for Vandy. Just focus and win.

IMO that's how they go about winning 5 SEC games to finish out the schedule. It's on the roster and coaches to believe, strain, and execute. I do not "expect" us to win any of them except Vandy. I just know if they decide to man up and play to win for 60 minutes they have a reasonable shot to win all five. The real condition of the roster and any weak links in coaches will be clearly revealed from this point on. They've had their week off to regroup, take stock of where they are, and revise their plans for improvement. I count Charlotte and Vandy as wins. Need two more to gain the extra bowl prep practices. Will see how it goes.

QB that's the problem with most mid level teams. Clemson same problem. Only reason Alabama got away with it their loaded top to bottom at every position.

The Vols don't capitalize on the talent and speed they have. Despite his success, Chandler had only 9 touches against UGA. JJ is a playmaker, but is only targeted a couple of times a game. Callaway can high-point the ball, but is seldom given the chance. The Vols have clear limitations and are not a good team, but they could be better than they are.

Callaway part is false. Has had plenty of targets this yr. he does tn get much separation and he could have easily have 2-3 TD catches vs Florida but couldn't come down with them

It’s all talk, though. Dana won’t do it. He sees green in the future with a 2nd fight and that’s all that matters.

As I said last night, he didn’t do anything to Connor and what Connor did was much worse. Would be hypocritical to punish Khabib.

Besides, this isn’t the first time that’s happened, won’t be the last, and Khabib’s antics weren’t even that bad. He went after a guy but didn’t even throw a punch. His teammates and Connor were the worst part

Simply untrue. Jumping into the crowd and starting a brawl among paying customers is a different level.

Bush league, especially from someone who dominated the fight.
