I agree but I also wonder what is the sort of offense we're building as even Alabama runs the spread these days. They have for a few years. I don't want us to get so caught up in the power run game that we ignore the elements of the spread that work and that even teams like Bama use.Agreed. I heard someone arguing, maybe on the VQ podcast, that they should run more spread just to utilize the talent they have better. It's definitely a challenge to come in and convert a Butch Jones built offense to a USC or Bama built offense.
I agree. This is probably the best set up that we could have to pull an upset on the road. We have to hope there’s some dissension in that locker room. I want to see us come out and play with some emotion for the first time this year. The crowd should be be fairly quiet early, and hopefully AU will come out flat. They have zero to play for now.
Going to lose to Georgia and Bama too and they know it. Could quit on Gus. 11 am game and they don’t want to be there.
I love it

Sure wish we had a QB that could keep on the read and run it some. Fitzgerald ate that DL up on the read all night.
Meh..Mullen inherited a team one year removed from back to back SEC east division championships. I don’t think they necessarily outtalent is at every position, but they don’t have the glaring holes like we do at OL and DB either.
I like Pruitt, but I was excited at the prospect of landing Mullen too. He has an excellent track record, the “Mehlen” crowd is pretty foolish on this issue.
Our players are more broken, or were badly overrated, and just plain bad at football. Florida's just didn't care enough to try hard till this year.UF is turning into a confident team. The historic UT blowout boosted their confidence and they're finding ways to overcome their deficiencies. UT is the flip side of that coin.
I wonder if Malzahn is seriously on the verge of losing this team
The alleged disgruntled player letter, multiple transfers, offense (his specialty) not clicking...
The could legitimately tune out
it wasn't just Hubbs. there was a good portion of Volnation that believed we were better than advertised. whether you convinced yourself the talent was there, just needed coaching or if you were one of the "anyone can win 7 games at TN with this roster types"....most everyone was wrong.Bs
We have heard Hubbs say this many times and we have also heard him say we finally have speed. The talk is old and tiresome
agree. i'm really glad this is a noon game now. They have zero to play for now.

Helton will call some run plays up the middle on 1st and 2nd down to give their defense emotion for the inevitable 3rd down incompletion.
Announcers will talk about how Auburn is finding a way to respond to the tough loss against MState the previous week.
When in reality, they're just playing Tennessee.
