UT fans should care what Nick Saban thinks why again?
Because he’s arguably the best college coach of all time. You ever listened to someone smarter talk to you? You’re bound to learn something. The main takeaway from his speech, IMO, is that players will feed off the fans vibes even if they have been successful. It’s kind of even more embarrassing for Alabama fan considering their success. Anyways, a lot of players came here to play in front of our fans every Saturday and when we’re bitching and moaning cause we didn’t take the number 3 team to the woodshed....yeah, that’s gonna reverberate well.

And no, I’m not trying to say the team can’t improve. Try not to put those words in my mouth. I’m just saying, the players can and will feed off our energy.

Should we listen to sabans advice on signing players that have pending felony warrants for domestic violence?

Your thread title was fans impact, im curious what the impact was?
So, you’re telling me, that this dude who’s built a dynasty is saying fans have an impact when it comes to supporting the team, and you’re gonna ignore it. Cmon. I know you like arguing for the sake of arguing, but at least be honest.

But, to answer your question, of course they destroyed ULL, they’re a well coached team. However, I don’t think Saban would just bring it up for no particular reason at all.

Again, you’re straying from the original point. Stay on task
So you start a thread title for those that think fans have no impact and you say that someone askig what the impact is, is straying from the original point? Lol, was the impact that it made nick saban mad? Who cares? Saban gets mad at everything, nothing new. Saban creates things to be mad about.

One other question...when is the last time you saw neyland stadium look like that at the beginning of a game?

Dude, please reread the post I quoted that you’re replying to now. You’ll see what I mean straying from the point.

And I’m not particularly talking about attendance, though I think it obviously has an impact (and never man Neyland is always hopping).

I’m just talking overall vibes and talk. For instance, when our fans are saying we’ll be lucky to score on Georgia or Bama, and trust me, that’s not just relegated to us posters here, the players will hear it one way or another.

Are we really questioning the fan support Alabama gets? Lol...saban signed a player with felony warrants for domestic violence. Sabana has players on his.team that plead.guilty to robbing students on campus. He lost his mind on a reporter for asking about the style off offense. He had to applogize for how he spoke to a sideline reporter.

Just because someone is good at something doesnt mean everything they say is gold.

Saban know s his fanbase is the dumbest group of people on planet.earth collectively. He complained about them leaving early and the next.week the idiots held up signs supporting him.

Well maybe he needs to schedule a few NFL games. Or stop hogging all the 5*s... time for some new SabAn rules to be created to stop the dominance, since no one can compete with em anymore.

Firstly, when did I ever say everything he says is gold? You’re first paragraph literally has nothing to do...with anything. Just a bunch of rambling nonsense.
I just think it’s a pretty basic assertion that being a positive fan base is good for the players. Don’t know why it’s such a complex idea for you. Wait, yup, you’re just that guy that always has the opposite opinion. It’s like clockwork; I knew you’d be one of the first to reply, lol.

Truth hurts, doesnt matter...you are never.ever.ever going to get everyone on the same message so it doesnt matter. Fans are not the only people saying it, and until its not true it should piss them off. Until then, its a good life lesson...you think college football players are the only people that hear negative things? Look at what lots of people say about cops, our military, doctors, car salesmen and on and on.

I also dont think im straying from the point..I would like to know the impact it had on the game?

Also ill ask again, when is the last time neyland look like that at the beginning of a game.

If it looks like I like to argue thats fine, I just dont blindly accept any premise thrown out, like the continual blaming of fans for the state of the program. It seems it.would be an easy point for you to defend?

Lol, truth hurts? Have no idea what you’re talking about, but cool high horse.

Once again, the straying from the point comment was commenting about signing a player for domestic violence. It has nothing to do with what I said.
ONCE AGAIN, reread my post, I answered your question about neyland in parenthesis. Are you even reading?

You use nick saban as your example to prove a point and say since he is good we should listen. I illustrated the point that he says and does alot of stupid stuff and just because he is a good football coach, doesnt make him right on anything. Alabamas fan support is ridiculous and we all know it, just.like tennessees fan support is. So really whats the point of the thread?

What’s the point of the thread? Surely you’re trolling at this point, cause I’ve clearly explained it to you.

Truth hurt...I say because you said something about the players hearing they dont have much of a chance scoring on uga or something.

And I bring up the dv to show that we dont always need to listen to everything nick saban.says just because he is a good football coach.

Here ill try again to show im not trolling you. I'll ask a series of questions with no ill intent.

What was the impact on that game?
When was the last time neyland stadium looked like that at kickoff?
Do you think this thread will make everyone here be positive about what they see on the field?
Do you think a message board with anonymous posters has any effect on a players ability to catch a ball or block a player?

No need to continue the debate. Volbamafan will always argue the negavol side of every debate. Your point was clear. The arguably best college football coach of all time stresses fan support. A positive fan base is beneficial for a team. Simple enough. You can literally click on every thread and see volbamafan arguing a negative stance. You'd think he'd tire at some point.

1. Answered already: Keep up
2: same as 1
3: as you always say a message board is for discussion, what I’m trying to promote here.
4: have you ever heard of morale? Clearly you’ve never played a sport. A lot of it in your chair sure, but not on your feet.
