Chat tidbits from last night:

Reid is quick but not someone this staff seems very high on. Ignont getting some serious run and looks like Sapp's role will expand after Saturday.
— Rob Lewis

Igont was assertive and physical on Saturday. Seems to be making progress. Definitely not a 3-down backer but he's a solid piece for this defense, especially with DK's limitations and struggles.

Why Jordan Murphy has disappeared:
Struggling to pickup the offense, block on the perimeter. Still, I'd give him a look. He's the only speed guy in the WR room right now

Kingston Harris - buzz at OL?
I havent heard much. But he was on the travel squad Saturday unlike a few other scholarship OL. Pruitt said two weeks ago they'd evaluate where he was during the bye week. I'd except an update on Harris sometime early next week.

Carvin is the back up center, per Price
Kirkland’s struggles?
lacks explosion because of the knee. Minimal to no weight work over the summer. Struggling to finish at contact.

agree on the mindset part. i siap yesterday, but i don't worry about Thomas, Reed, Finau, Koepka or even DJ. they either have that competitive fire that they can feed off of, instead of viewing it as pressure, or in Koepka's and DJ's case, nothing ever gets to them, good or bad. they're freaking robots. lol.

i'd like to see guys like Kisner, Hoffman get a shot at the ryder cup. and if you need veterans, there's guys like Zack Johnson and Matt Kuchar out there, who aren't probably gonna win a ton, but they aren't gonna just go out and lose either, like Watson or Dechambeau.

us golf is in a good place, i'm not really complaining. but if they want to put together ryder cup teams that can compete, i think some of the "old guard" way of thinking needs to go. match play is just different.
Watson won a point, that’s more than Tiger did

If people would just look past the quirkiness, they’d see the guy is a winner that regularly beats teams that outtalent his. And personally, I like the quirkiness.
He's a missed kick away from being ranked around #13 in the AP.

I just don’t think he would’ve recruited well enough.

He’s never recruited at a program like Tennessee. The program itself would have him recruiting top 15-20. He’s not that kind of coach anyhow, he wouldjust recruit to his system which might or might not jive with recruiting service rankings.

Uhhhh it is called a joke....lol tried to pick a funny picture. Been a vol since about 1984 or so.
I know, dude. I guess it’s self deprecating humor, on your part.
But, I get that pix with her equally ugly husband sent to me by opposing fans occasionally.
Not used to seeing a fellow Vol fan use it. But, it’s all good man.
The way we’ve played on the field lately is a lot uglier than Lulu, lol.
