I guess you didn't watch him last week.
i did. and while he played better, the bucs turning it over 4 times in the 1st half played well for the Steelers.

they had to hang on to win that game. didn't score a point in the 2nd half.

the steelers have big problems. and i think the bill situation is a bigger deal than anyone over there will admit.

and i think there's ego issues elsewhere on the roster too. ben and AB aren't firing on all cylinders, and look way out of sinc.

and the defense is just flat terrible. this season needs to do a complete 180, or i do think Tomlin is gone. i think he's lost the team. jmo. the really bad part about that is that with the defense in the shape it's in, and where ben is at in his career, a coaching change likely means the whole thing gets blown up and it's gonna have to be rebuilt. that's just not a good football team right now.

Tonight's game couldn't even keep my interest. I had it on but didn't even watch. Last week's game was brilliant play from Ben
yep. i had it on my phone, but i watched other stuff. turned it off completely when he threw the pick in the 4th qtr already down 23-14. pathetic effort by al linvolved.

I remember watching this video during JG's recruitment. Watch him run at 1:55 and 3:14... I thought he would be a legitimate dual threat but something didn't translate from HS to college.

The level of competition he was playing against is the major factor here. If you look at the run you cited at 3:14 he's playing against what look like a bunch of 7th graders.

If Kongbo can't beat the block of a TE or WR and set the edge, then we are in deep trouble. Having a TE demolish our OLB allows the opposing OLIne to double up on our Defensive linemen-----> and that is what UGA did on the 4th quarter drive.
How can we see this every snap but the coaches let him stay in the whole game.

I don’t care if he knows his assignment, he can’t do the job. I’d rather have someone in there who may be out of place a few snaps but has ability to make plays.

You sound like a Steelers fan... how do you feel about trading bell, if it meant for a 1st rihnder (a high one probably) to like the jets

i am. and to be honest, i don't think they can get a 1st round pick for him. they'd have to find the right suitor that just had to have Bell, and could afford him.

the steelers have no leverage at this point, i'd just take the best offer i could get. he can't come back now, and i just don't see anyone giving up a whole helluva lot for him knowing the situation the way we do.

or did you mean giving bell AND 1st round pick away?

if you meant that, nah, i don't think i'd make a bad situation worse. that said, if you were going to make a trade like that, then it'd have to include multiple draft picks. like you get Bell and our 1st round pick for your 2nd and 3rd round pick and next years. 4th or something like that....then i might consider it.

but at the same time, if this season goes like it's looking, the steelers won't be picking at the end of the 1st round, they'll be in the upper half, and that could mean passing up on a really good player.

that would be tough, and a lot would depend on just how deep this draft, or next year's, really is. and i don't know that yet..

it's tough, but the panthers had this issue with Josh Norman. and they let him walk. it wasn't ideal, but but it did work out. you don't win by letting him walk, but you also don't lose either. which you could if you make a bad trade out of desperation.

I found the Ryder Cup to be much more exciting and enjoyable to watch than the NFL. NFL has gotten boring. Doesn't come close to College atmosphere.
college is always better than the NFL. that's not really even close in my book.

the ryder cup this year really kinda sucked. aside from Friday morning, we got steamrolled the rest of the matches, and didn't really give ourselves much of a chance on Sunday.

Oh god no. I think near the trade deadline a team in win now mode or feel that all they need is a RB could maybe give up a 1st or a 2nd for bell. Like the eagles, colts, Miami, maybe Baltimore but i doubt you would trade him inside the division.

But the team needs a lot of cap so the jets make the most sense Bc they have cap and a need at RB

I understand that but watching Sunday there was a window of possibility that US could pull it off. That was for me fun to watch to see if they could do it but we know they didn't. Was disappointed in Woods, Johnson, and Spieth on Sunday. Speith had a tough year for his standards. I just love golf period. Sad to see the season coming to an end.

ok, gotcha. and that does make sense. and that may be the only thing that could work out for the steelers is to find a team with that kind of need....supply being what it is.

yeah. but the story was basically written on Saturday. i watched Sunday until it just became obvious we had no shot.

i thought DJ actually played pretty clutch on Sunday. he drained some HUGE puts....problem was, they weren't for wins, they just ensured the match stayed all square. yeah Speith was not good, and i was worried about him to begin with. he's an emotional player, and there are times that when things start to go bad, they stay bad for him. that's not a recipie for the ryder cup.

woods just doesn't have it. he's never been great in match play. he can beat you up and down a golf course, cause he can make shots. but like speith, when things start to go bad, they kinda stay bad. there's a reason he's never come from behind to win a major. he's a front runner (maybe the best of of all time mind you, so i'm not hatin').

the american team, by and large was soft, mentally. that's where the euros have the edge in these types of formats. plus, i think it just means a little more to them than it does to us. you rarely hear US fans talk about a player in terms of his ryder coup/president's cup acccomplishments, just majors. in europe, your ryder cup record matters. that's why they love guys like Sergio, or Colin Montgomery etc... who don't have much by way of Majors, but has a stellar RC record.

We haven’t bought tickets yet. We always wait until last minute. We will be sitting in the top somewhere though
Lower bowl seats in the corner close to where our band will be are @ $90 right now. My bro-in-law is going to wait until first of next week and see if they drop a little more, but that’s probably where we will end up sitting unless they sell quickly.

Patrick reed threw spieth directly under the bus today.

That is the general mindset of fans when things aren't going well.

WVU 40-14 JG 19/25 172yds 1 TD -15yds rushing
ETSU 59-3 JG 8/13 154yds 0 TD -6yds rushing
UTEP 24-0 JG 12/16 168yds 1 TD 20yds rushing
Florida 47-21 JG 7/18 164yds 2 INT -5yds rushing
UGA 38-12 JG 13/21 143yds 2 TD -8yds rushing

160yds Avg Passing per game
18.6 attempts per game
11.8 completions per game
0.8 TDs per game
Yuck. Only going to get worse next two games. KC will be starting the USCe either due to JG knocked out by injuries or poor play. Team will need a "spark".
