Funny you should mention
paint chips, no paint hadn't
been invented when I was
a kid.

the hill??? My next door neighbor's
son is bush hogging that as we
speak, he said he spent two weeks
and had just barely finished the roads,
not even started on the rest yet.

When I was a kid there was a farmer
who brought a dozer down into
Marrowbone just above the first bridge
and cleaned out a big swimming hole
for us kids, put up a brand new rope
in the swinging tree and installed a
new two inch thick two by twelve
green cut oak diving board, if there was
ever any trouble all you had to do was
call him and he would be right there
with his shotgun, oh for the good old
days.

Used to spend a lot of time at the Powder
Mill too and you know what that's like now.

The last time I played there one of the
guys in my foursome was the guy who
cowrote "Always on my mind" with
Willie, he never would sing it right
though, instead of starting out; 'you
are always on my mind' he would
sing; "I am always on my mind.'
