You forgot to mention that we struck fear into the number 2 team in the country after we got destroyed by a sh*t UF team. Its like some people expect everything given and nothing earned. I love getting better as much as winning. Hope we see Pruitt turn us into something to be feared

Yeah, obviously we didn’t win. And yes, we shouldn’t settle. Nobody is suggesting that this game was acceptable. But with the team that we have we need to take what we can get. Right now incremental improvement is the best we can do, and tonight we did it. I like the trajectory.

They expected a game 1 of the season roll over and came off the field with slightly more respect for what we were able to do, considering they almost beat the National Champs last year.

We went 41 - 0 against them last year with an arguably better team, in Knoxville. Show a little respect to the people who have been working toward that

I think we can sneak out a win or two in the SEC if the team continues to get better. That could lead to one more win than last year but still not enough for a bowl game. I think how bad the team is means we will not get a couple of recruits we sorely need to get better faster as a result.

The Florida loss was the one that got away that will stick out again.

Detecting trend changes is not easy but can be easily seen in hindsight. I'm going out on a limb and saying the trend has turned up for our beloved Vols. (I don't like that the gators last week were the low point either)

Nor mine, seeing as how I have.....1,280ish less posts than you do. My POINT was UGA had zero respect for the Vols going into this game, they walked onto that field expecting at LEAST a 41 point win and they walked off that field with a lot less confidence. If you took it the wrong way I apologize for my lack of clarity friend.

Tackling and coverage still an issue, as well as deep passes. Other than playcalling Im not mad. Naturally, the ball doesnt bounce our way again as always. Tenn recovers those 2 fumbles and it could be an entirely different story.
Team still sucks tho. Theres hope again SCjr and Vandy tho.
Perhaps even UK. Yeah yeah theyre playing pretty well but if they can slow Snell then UK will struggle. IF they play like they did today.
I just hope this team doesnt give up before the back half of the schedule gets here. Well timed bye week.

Don't know if we get 4 more this year may be lucky to get two more if even that. I really don't care this year about wins or losses because I wasn't expecting to beat georgia, alabama this year. I do however want to see improvement every week to give me hope for next year and going forward. We have a new staff that I think can give that to me. Also it would be nice to get 4 more for the extra practices.
