Uhh the good team was the Vols with a 9 win season. I think you are off your rocker.

They only started having likes a few years ago. The guy joined in 2004.
There were no "likes" for the majority of his time here. Even if you're right in the debate, that's why the like ratio thing is skewed with a lot of the posters.

UT takes a lopsided loss and they show players laughing and smiling after the game with there Georgia buddies. It should tell you something about how losses are taken.

Better but still a poorly coached team especially on the offensive side of the ball. CJP showed his inexperience today by going for two when he didn’t need to. But all in all some progress but still have a long way to go in both players and coaches.

Despite the balls and the calls not going our way, I thought this was the best played game of the year.

Defense is showing improvement each game.

OL still has a long way to go but not as bad as Florida game.

Almost no turnovers.

Looking at Uga play Tennessee and Mizzou, I'm leaning towards them not making the CFP this year.

Hey, this team showed me what Pruitt was talking about last week. Even when the chips were stacked against them, the Volunteers kept the fight going. I am ok with the outcome because I didn't see anyone giving up.

Once again, you pointed out one game when I said name a team that consistently doubled up on TOP and still won. That wasn’t UT..... can’t believe there are Butch apologists around these parts still.

Man what team did you play on. Yeah it happens all the time in the pros but this ain't the pros. Do you seriously think winning programs would accept a beatdown and you catch up with guys on the other team like you won. If we ain't kneeling to pray on the away field then I am gone to the locker room. Even if I'm not shedding a tear I'm not going to be caught immediately after the game like I'm ok with it.

I guess it depends on the mentality of your players. I don't think you see this at Alabama after any loss....especially not if Saban catches you doing it.

Well, a couple of things. Being very mild here, bc this isn’t worthy of a major lah-de-dah.

- ETV joined in 2004. There weren’t likes for donkey years, and then I think they got turned off for a while and then turned back on. Many older posters are (I suppose) underrepresented in Likes Land.

- Many posters give likes for rah-rah posts, those representing a prevailing sentiment, whether positive or negative. (I have been the VN Likes Fairy in the past, running out of the limit of 100/day, so I kinda know this side of things.) Yes, there are posters who read a post, tap their pipes, stroke their chins judiciously, sip their sherries, and then click “like.” But most of us click like out of a HAIL YEAH! kind of response, frequently encouraged by a certain amount of ETOH on board.

Not that I would know anything ‘bout that.

Another thing is Goergia players had something to be smiling, laughing and talking about but the Vols didn't.

I guess everyone doesn’t have the same emotional reactions that you do.

Besides, Tennessee played well. Still a bad team, but didn’t do anything to shame themselves.

As a player I had more emotion but I think it should be a given that after you just had you butts handed to you that you should get in the locker room. I would expect that as a coach and I'm sure Coach Pruitt does as well. He probably hasn't dealt with anything like this before. It's not just the losing but it doesn't seem to hurt a lot of these guys.
