That's exactly what I suggested, more or less, its at the floor, you start the process it will be a week anyway. You'll have a few FBI agents open up the background check, call Ford back up and a few others sometime next week, submit the same background check you basically already had. They closed the investigation route i.e. the committee today, so I really fail to see the point.

Nobody is really going to switch up so this is just political cover, I guess, haha.

What is there to pursue, the investigation is over... the committee has all types of affidavits in by all kinds of wack-jobs. Does anyone actually believe the FBI is going to be covering the United State looking for guy in the grassy knoll? Basically that's about 160ish hours from now. And the FBI really doesn't have the tools to do much of anything. Let's say someone recants, well, here comes potentially perjury charge added on for good measure.... and then you can please let me what house it was at, who own the house, how No Fly Ford got there, how No Fly Ford got home and whether she ran out of the house or not... and exactly why you lied to start with. The reason she doesn't know is because it never happened.... once you have those facts the rest will be somewhat easier to verify.

If someone can't come up with a month and year, what the hell is there to ever investigate.... the existence of a worm hole?

This whole thing is silly but basically nothing has changed, not really, they basically got maybe a day delay and as little as a few hours.

They’re just starting the clock. Procedural votes and the like will take place over the next few days. The only thing being delayed is the final vote. That happens next Friday whether or not the FBI investigation is complete.

If another accuser comes forth the democrats, and some republicans, and the media will demand that the new accusers be investigated by the FBI. As of today, there are only 38 days until the midterm elections.

There are all kinds of wack job accusers and the committee has their affidavits, they'll be more by next week. It doesn't really change anything.

If they weren't going to vote yes next week, they still aren't going to vote next week yes next week either. Basically they probably got a few hours delay, if that, maybe a day.

The committee is no longer involved, that is the investigation body. The FBI really doesn't investigate anything in these background checks, they comply data... pretty much it.
