I don't give a damn what a random lawyer says. It's outside of the jurisdiction of the FBI to investigate a local misdemeanor assault. And furthermore, the FBI have nothing to go on to investigate. There's no address, no specific time frame, and the only potential witnesses have denied that it ever happened under penalty of felony charges.

At least K has some form of evidence with his calendar from the 1980's demonstrating he didn't attend the party at the time that Ford stated he was. Ford has zero evidence to back up any of her claims.

Where do they start? No crime scene. No timetable. No witnesses to corroborate Ford’s story. Or will this simply delay confirmation and give them time to fabricate some new witnesses and accusers? Ford can’t remember any details from 30+ years ago or while being coached the past few months but an FBI investigation will somehow help? Did she actually say that she could be more helpful if the FBI investigated? Lol how?

What kind of lawyer are you, that is not how any of this works.

The committee is the investigation body, they had all the opportunity to interview, gather statements, use subpoenas, hire experts, etc. The FBI does not have legal authority to investigate a crime scene that they don't exist and from which they don't have jurisdiction. There isn't anything for the FBI to do because, generally speaking, there are no other cooperating witnesses, not really.

She might as well have said she was abducted by aliens and sent to the planet Vulcan, the FBI doesn't have jurisdiction on a non-existent planet, nor can they interview aliens that she can't identify.

Literally her story would be more believable, if she said she was drunk and body cavity searched by aliens. Meaning, I still wouldn't believe her but I would be more inclined to believe she believed it. Her story makes no real sense and there are no leads.

This case is about as high profile as it gets. If there is anyone out there not living under a rock who could corroborate her claims I feel very confident that someone would have come forward or that Dems and the media would have found that person. But instead any and everyone who has been named and would have been around them at that time has denied all knowledge of the incident. There is literally nothing to this.
