I'm not prepared to go that far. Regardless, they are trying to create the environment that any person Trump chooses will fight an uphill battle regardless of the veracity of the allegations made. Not only that, the lengths they will go to destroy a person, in public no less, and their family.

They picked a strange hill to die on right before the midterms. Things like this can (and will) backfire on them bigly.

They want to deligimitze public institutions and sow chaos, so that by comparison they can present socialism as reasonable alternative. It's literally happening before our eyes.
