Saying we should generally believe accusers is not the same as saying he’s guilty, and it’s not in the same universe as “he should pay for the crimes of other men even if it’s not true”

Maybe you miss my point. They don't care if it's not true. As soon as Ford's accusation became public, they proclaimed him guilty. They have not covered this story from the perspective he might be innocent. Everything has been with the presumption he's guilty.

I don’t really want to have to “believe” an accuser or the accused. I would hope that the #MeToo movement makes it easier for women to use our current criminal justice system to seek the justice they deserve.

As it stands now, we are seeing the #BelieveSurvivors movement take hold which completely circumvents the justice system and leaves us with “I believe her because she’s telling the truth.”

What about if a woman was assaulted by that little lesbian S.C. Justice that looks like Lou Costello or Kevin James?
