What marks success against GA

The offense blocking better. Not getting JG hurt and the defense playing better. I would also like to see Banks get more carries. Not really sure why he didn't play more against FL. He runs hard and has a fire about him. I know he is only a Freshman but he is trying to lead by example. This would be a great game for me. Not expecting to win but these are the things I would like to see.

Not coming home with your tail between your legs?

Coming home with your tail intact?

Photo, I have a challenge for you.

For one week, posting just as often as you normally do, try not to mention a single (1) body part, (2) bodily function, or (3) bodily fluid or excretion, anywhere in your posts.

Think you could? Go a whole week? :)

It would be nice for this to be that game where we show up, look like are actually practiced this week, and execute the fundamentals ath the level of an SEC team.
Absolutely, nothing special but just play physical and execute assignment football. We don't have the talent to win... but we can block the man in front of us and finish the block and tackle the ball carrier when we have a glove on him. Cover the right man and hold on to the ball while being tackled. Football.

It will be closer than what most think, literally no way that Tn plays as bad Saturday. I remember in 04, AU beat UT 38-13 in Neyland and UT upset top 5 UGA in Athens the next week 19-14. College football happens.
It does but the situations are very different.

If UT has 6 turnovers this week they may lose by 60.

I dont see that happening again but even at that it's a 40-14 type game.

College football does happen, just not to this team it seems... whens the last time we pulled a legit upset? Like beat a top 10 team when we weren’t even ranked? I like your optimism, wish I could muster some, just don’t see it happening. I expect to get slaughtered without so much as a whimper from this team as we’ve become accustomed to. For the record I hope your right and I hope I’m very wrong.

Man wouldn’t that be something? Just look like you know what organized football is... my goal is simply for me to not wish we could replace our players out there with sacks of potatoes because I think they’d do a better job. I’m at the point I’ll settle for that.

The O-Line needs to protect the QB and if they screw up and he gets sacked, they BETTER help him up and take responsibility of their mistakes! The defense as a whole needs to step it up and shut GA down, I know that's a tall order, but if they all work together and really play hard it could happen.

Let’s start small. How about nothing aside from the scoreboard that makes it embarrassing to be a Tennessee fan.
