Tim Jordan was asked to pass protect three times Saturday and he missed his assignment twice, giving the sophomore tailback a PFF grade of 13.9. That’s as low as a grade I’ve seen for a subsection for a UT player so far in 2018.

I've noticed he's our worst blocker when it comes to pass protect. Gotta fix that or Mcbride will be playing by the end of October..

This is the worst OL in the SEC and maybe power 5 right now in terms of play. The offense can and will not do anything till they start getting it together.
I was talking about the first part. You can find ways to work around having a bad Oline, obviously it’s going to handicap you some but what we’ve seen is inexcusable

I JUST WANT TO BE GOOD AGAIN!

I fear that neither JG or Chryst will survive the next three defenses we play. I mean UFs defense sucks comparatively, and the blocking dang near got JG killed in that game. I really think they might both get badly hurt this month. JG is too tough for his own good, plus being so slight. He will definitely not survive it imo.

There is no way to work around an OL this bad.

Wait..."Handicap you some" my gosh that is a extreme understatement of difficulty. That is ridiculous..

Agreed. A bad OL makes it almost impossible to do anything on offense. There's no scheming around being unable to open up running lanes or give the QB time to throw.

We would have gone 4-8 in 2014 with that atrocious OL without Dobbs' mobility, IMO.
Yep..people say stupid stuff like there is some magic spell that will get yards.

I just don't agree, especially with UF's weak secondary. You can't use a 7 OL front on your own goaline against a 9 man defensive front when your OL is bad.

There are things that can at least try, and we just didn't.

You saw Helton draw up the WR screens so we spread the D out and that negates the pass rush, but it really limits your playcalling. We had 3 true freshman playing on the O-line at one point last week. Thats never good. Going thru Georgia, Bama, and Auburn will be brutal.

I expect us to,get beat like a dum, but I just want to see some kind of improvement from the line. I dont expect a miracle, but just some kind of glimmer of hope that theyre improving

Did I miss that part of the UF game? WR screens?

We’re a soft, undersized team, nobody denies that. So why on earth do the same people justify trying to be a physical team up front? My goodness

I guess people forget when we got absolutely dominated up front against by App State, UTC, ect under the CBJ years. But you’re right, we’ve never had an Oline near this bad😂
