5. Ramirez contacted her former classmates, asking about the incident, and admitted she was not sure that Kavanaugh was the male who exposed himself.

The Times' report states:

Ms. Ramirez herself contacted former Yale classmates asking if they recalled the incident and told some of them that she could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself.

Gillibrand (sp?) last night was echoing the same double standard explaining why she thinks K is lying.

If he isn't demanding an FBI investigation, he must be guilty. After we're told that just because someone waited "x" years, or want to be anonymous or ... doesn't have any bearing on the veracity of their claims wouldn't the same follow that if someone doesn't demand the FBI investigate that is also has no bearing on the veracity of their claims? Nah.

She also said K refused to be interviewed by the FBI (a lie).

President Donald Trump sought to discredit one of the women accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct by saying she was "messed up" and "drunk" at the time of the alleged incident. He also said he believes Democrats are masterminding "a con game" against his Supreme Court nominee.
Trump paused before his bilateral meeting with the Colombian President Tuesday to deliver a broadside against Deborah Ramirez, who accused Kavanaugh of inappropriate sexual behavior in an interview with The New Yorker, an allegation he has denied repeatedly. CNN has not independently confirmed her story.
"The second accuser has nothing," Trump said. "She admits that she was drunk. She admits time lapses."
"She said she was totally inebriated and she was all messed up, and she doesn't know it was him but it might've been him," Trump said, adding sarcastically, " 'Oh gee, let's not make him a Supreme Court judge because of that.' "

On Sunday evening, just as The New Yorker revealed the identity of a second woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct, attorney Michael Avenatti announced that he, too, had “credible information” about Kavanaugh and his high-school friend Mark Judge.

The media-savvy lawyer told The Daily Beast on Monday that his client would be coming forward “in the next 48 hours” with details and accusations that mirrored those already leveled and could, in his estimation, torpedo Kavanaugh’s confirmation—all of which would seem helpful for Democrats as they make the case that Kavanaugh is morally unfit to sit on the Supreme Court.

And yet, Avenatti’s late appearance in this heated confirmation fight has some in the party fearful that he will end up doing more harm than good—in particular, giving Republicans ammunition to condemn and dismiss the allegations against Kavanaugh as a political hit job.

“Mr. Avenatti has a tendency to sensationalize and make his various crusades more about himself than about getting at the truth,” said a senior Senate Democratic aide. “This moment calls for the exact opposite.”

Actually he's just repeating what she already said. While all the statesmen in DC try to remain politically correct and not appear to insult her. Trump is just stating what many in America already think. It's why he ran over the Republican party like a steam roller and then left the Dems scratching their butt wondering what happened after he sent Hildebeast to retirement. It's why you're going to be stuck with him until he steps down in January of 2024.

Yes, this is how his base thinks, I agree.

It is also what will cause the moderates in the party not to show up in November or support him during impeachment.

He's a crass, brutish, oaf. You think he's just "telling it like it is." Everyone else understands that he is telling it like his feeble mind processes it -- shallowly.

Prediction: His client will come out Wednesday night and show up demanding to be heard on Thursday, thus avoiding the smear campaign against her before her testimony. If they don't hear her in front of committee there will have to be another one.
