The Atlanta Braves

Maybe Tee Martin can be the savior in a couple years. After watching Pruitt’s **** performance tonight I’m disappointed we didn’t give Tee the shot instead of Pruitt.

At least Pruitt's side of the ball did mostly all right tonight. USC's offense has mostly been ass this year.

I'm not as ready to heap everything on Pruitt as you are. If the OL is really gonna be this bad -- and they couldn't even get a push vs UTEP or ETSU -- then we're not going to beat anybody in the SEC.

There are a bunch of quitters on this team who need to be kicked off, sooner rather than later. Play walkons if you have to.

This is a complete turn from the norm for me, but...

I think you’re putting too much blame on Pruitt. We turned it over 6 times. I think they got something like 26 points off turnovers. They had three drives where they scored on one play. The players have to be better than that.

(Although I do think Helton sucked ass tonight)

Well Florida also went super conservative after they went up 33-3.

And how are they not better than last year? I mean it’s not like it’s 2014 where Dooley didn’t recruit offensive linemen for two years. He’s got two five stars, and two four stars in the lineup. And yet exactly zero improvement. They actually are decent throwing the ball yet we run the ball all the time and only threw on first down once.

But they didn’t. Okie State outbid us every step.

I understand that we do also have an issue where this job doesn’t attract top talent. But money talks - even if you have to get ridiculous about it.

This is what I thought a decade ago when we were arguing about whether to fire Fulmer. But not anymore. These coaches all already make FU money. The only thing they really care about is a chance to win championships.

I’m not advocating for his firing tonight, what I’m saying is this team that lost to Florida last year on the final play and outplayed them the last four years just got stomped by four touchdowns at home and Florida still sucks. That’s taking two steps back.

I find it really hard to blame Pruitt's staff for not improving Drew Richmond, who might be a "five star" but who is, more importantly, a colossal sack of shlt. Same goes for the rest of the OL. Pruitt's got exactly one OL. And we can't even reliably run it behind him because the rest of the line caves in so fast.

And I get why we have to try the run so much, because almost every time we attempt a pass our QB gets murdered. That is untenable. If we try to throw it 40 times a game then we're going to be down to walkons by November.

Six turnover is six turnovers. Total yards were about the same. If you think that all those turnovers are on Pruitt and his staff, then yeah, I get why you think he was such a disaster tonight. That's not how I look at it.

Drew Richmond has to be the most disappointing player at Tennessee that I can remember. The dude is full bore worthless.

My Hot Take from Neyland Stadium:

We bad. We real bad. Another 0-for-SEC bad, without question. Cut the soft ones, run 'em off, or just affix their asses to the bench.
