Damnit Chief. Why don't u drop to your knees and finish Mullen off. He did a great job at Miss. St., but he is no Jackie Sherrill. Recognize! Jackie is still the only coach to get Miss. St. to the SECCG, not Mullen. Trust me, Mullen is not the 2nd coming of Spurrier or Urban or even Galen Hall. Vols roll and dominate Florida tonight. U can get back on your knees next week when Miss. St. beats Mullen and Florida and tell us how Mullen built a powerhouse in StarkVegas that is so talented that they just beat his new team and have half of Gator nation screaming for his job after 5 games

I just stated facts, you make your own assumptions. I think he feasted off non ranked opponents.

Nothing I posted was an assumption lol. Literally every point I made in that post was a fact. Then you fire back in what appears to be an attempt to discredit the job he did there.

Still doesn't make Mullen a better coach than Sherrill. Ask Majors who the better coach is, if u doubt me. Although Jackie had done left Pitt when they won that NC, without Jackie it never happens. Check out some of those records at Pitt and A&M when Jackie was the coach. Mullen couldn't carry Jackie's jock as a coach. Miss. St. wasn't the only place Jackie coached at and won at, unlike Mullen

Well Mullen hasn’t had another chance to win somewhere else yet so that’s not really a fair point.

Also the bulk of the time Mullen was at MSU a combination of Bama, Auburn, or LSU were really really good every year. Not to mention ole miss had some really good years too. Added in AM team with Manziel etc.

Jackie Sherril took a garbage team in an even more garbage division to the title game. Mullen is the best coach that school has ever had. Folks would agree if he was the coach at Tennessee instead of Florida. The bias on this board is incredible.

I’m not really concerned with Majors opinion.

Mullen was better than Sherrill at MSU. Jackie was a .500 coach in a worse division than Mullen.

3-21 his last 3 seasons in conference. Gross

Mehlen's ranked wins:

2009: 25 Ole Miss, who finished 9-4
2010: at 22 Florida (8-5)
2011: nope
2012: nuh-uh
2013: well they sure showed Alcorn State and Troy who's boss
2014: 6 Texas A&M, 2 Auburn, both finished 8-5 overall
2015: 0-4 versus ranked opponents
2016: 20 Samford-- oh wait Samford is FCS. 7 Texas A&M who again finished 8-5
2017: 12 LSU (9-4)

All of the ranked opponents he's won against finished with at least four losses.

Watching Gameday right now. I can’t help but think as they go through all these games and analysis, and players talking about taking the next step and winning this week. Talking about getting better each week. What teams are good and saying who is playing good defensively and who is tough to stop on offense.

Just seems to me it’s all for nothing. I get we play the games each season and this is all about entertainment, but at the end of the day and when all the talking stops it’s going to be some combination of Bama, GA, OSU, Clemson at the end of the year. You really can just mark down Bama as a guarantee. Even if they lose a game, history has shown they get the mulligan even without winning the conference and they aren’t losing two this year.

The way I see it, every game other than the ones those are playing in just doesn’t matter. There is no parity and if you aren’t on top it doesn’t matter.

I’m probably jaded, but seeing the same thing every year is just getting old.

How many times have I expressed how much confidence I have in Pruitt? Countless times, but it goes unnoticed. Guess I should have pretended like Bozo Jones and Dooley were stud coaches like the rest of you goons.
