If he transferred after this weekend, he wouldnāt be eligible until his new teamās fourth game next season...UNLESS thatās different with grad transfers.
If he goes the traditional transfer route? Thatās how it worked with Preston Williams. He wasnāt eligible at Colorado State until after the same number of games he had participated in with the Vols. Became a moot point when he got suspended. Iām not sure how Hurts can pull the graduate transfer rabbit out of a hat if he transfers BEFORE he graduates. Now Butch worked with Boulware and he left the team but still finished his classes. Think Saban would accommodate that option?Even if he still retains a redshirt? Wouldn't that kind of defeat the new rule?
Edit: Wouldn't that be like him finishing the season as a redshirt and transferring and getting to play immediately next year?

Initially he was rumored to be going the Blake Barnett route...through JC. He transferred straight so he had to sit out 2017. Youāre right. Can you link that Preston williams wasn't going to have to sit out an entire year?
I don't believe that by want to give you the benefit of the doubt before saying that's wrong
That's awesome if you can afford it. I have to figure out how to do it on the cheap. My wife and girls could not care less about sports. My son usually goes with me and my brothers, and sometimes Dad when he is feeling up to it.The experience of Neyland has to be passed down to the next generations. Just like how I experienced my first games, I am taking my 8 year old to his first one for homecoming. I want my son to enjoy what I fell in love with. Even going for homecoming (not as intense and other activities) with my son and my Dad will cost $600+. Two nights in a hotel, game tickets, gas from Memphis, and just reasonable food. Just wait until he falls in love with it and wants to go to UT-Bama in 2020, and the tickets are through the roof. It gets expensive for families, but it's something that I will spend the money to enjoy.
Thats because your mancrush doesn't have..IT..Tyler bray just wasnāt a great player. It has nothin to do with some mythical thing called āit factorā.
I know Iām in the minority probably in this but i just think itās a really easy and lazy take when a player wins or loses mainly.
Graduating is the requirement of course. Thatās why when Preston was rumored to be contemplating that move many doubted it would work...considering his difficulties entering Tennessee. Prolly why it didnāt happen.Ok thanks
I still want to get a clear understanding of the juco thing. I think it just means they graduated from the juco but maybe there is more to that
I feel you. I have to drive 8 1/2 hrs. A trip to go to Neyland for my 4 is close to 1k + and thatās for nosebleed seats. Thatās why I hardly go. Hoping to go to the Kentucky game this year, just donāt know if itās feasible.
