Like I said I think no matter what happens in the game tomorrow it’s going to feel like a long season after the next 3 games followed by a tough game at USCjr. If we dominate Florida like we did Cal then we should all be ecstatic, but also remember Florida might be the worst SEC team we play this year. That's the obvious, most likely scenario and not really what I was asking.
What is everyone's reaction going to be if we completely dominate this game on both sides of the ball from start to finish like Cal 2006? Do you think we finally turned a corner or Florida is just that bad?
On the flip side, what is everyone's reaction if we get dominated the entire game and lose badly? Florida is better than we thought, or we're really just that bad and going to be a really long season?
agree with this and the thing that concerns about the USCe game isn't so much USCe, as much as it is how it falls on both our schedules. it's the last game of our gauntlet, directly after Bama...they get a bye, and it's in Columbia.I tried using this as a writing prompt, but it's useless.
All depends on how Carolina, Mizzou, Kentucky, and Vandy shake out down the stretch. Maybe I'm just mentally exhausted to the point of stalemate thinking about it.
Basically, to channel my inner Madden, if we beat Florida, we're one win closer to a bowl game.
The next conventionally beatable opponent is Carolina, and they could easily lose three of their next four. But that doesn't guarantee they don't get their heads screwed on straight during their bye week right before our game.
Tyler bray just wasn’t a great player. It has nothin to do with some mythical thing called “it factor”.
I know I’m in the minority probably in this but i just think it’s a really easy and lazy take when a player wins or loses mainly.

the game is winnable. dont' get me wrong. but i'm far from calling that one.
if we win tomorrow, then you're 3-1, with UNCC as #4. gotta find a way to win 2 of 3 against MO, KY and Vandy, if not all three.
winning tomorrow is big for our post season aspirations, as meager as they may be....lol.
and i still say that Auburn game is sneaky. i'm not gonna call upset just yet. but for a lot of the same reasons i don't like the USCe game, i like the Auburn game. the difference, i still think Auburn is probably a lot better than USCe.

I've discovered the answer.
The Autumnal Equinox occurs tomorrow at 9:54 p.m. Eastern Time. That's right around the end of the game. The question is, which team is autumn starting for? Well, it can't be Tennessee. We've been locked in the icy jaws of winter for years now.
The only answer is that autumn arrives for the Gators. So, I say beware ye Gators of Gainesville.
Winter Is Coming
