If it was next WK, JG doesn't come out. They have taken these two games to get both, ESPECIALLY KC, ready to play, because they could afford to do it. KC was going in there, NO MATTER WHAT. JG is the guy, and I believe they know that, and like what they see. But, they had to take these last two wks, to get KC as many reps as possible. I will be shocked if JG doesn't go the entire game next WK, if he's playing well. I'm like you, I didn't want to see JG come out, but, unlike you, I completely understand why the move was made.Guys I want to apologize for how I expressed my thoughts about sitting 2 today. My words were over the top and inappropriate.
Now with that said I will voice them in a more appropriate way. Taking 2 out of the game at 10-0 during the two minute drill was the worst piece of game management I have seen in memory. It clearly was an awful time to do so because he was the only player on offense playing well at the time. He was 8/10 for 140 yards. He was usIng his Legs and he was over 25 yards rushing. He was playing with energy and the best thing is was it appeared he was leading like a QB should on the sidelines. It was obviously not a time to change the QB. There is no bigger way to slow down a rhythm and a QBs development that making him look over his shoulder and share time.
This to simply put it was a huge mismanagement decision by Pruitt today imo.
I did, but, it was against ourselves. We did whatever we wanted today, until we decided we didn't want to do it, be it by committing stupid penalties, or turning the ball over. 500+ O, 135 give or take D...that's not a struggle against the opponent.
