The Atlanta Braves

I don't think so. It's kind of like British comedy. Some love it. Some think it's horrific.
Disagree to an extent. I see the comparison to British comedy but I also think it’s being looked at with revisionist history because of what happens now. You may not think it’s funny or edgy by 2018 standards but viewing a lot of episodes through mid 90’s lenses is hard to do in retrospect.

I still like it. Larry David is awesome.

They're fine, but they're not exactly a threat to be in the Rock and Roll HOF.

OutKast was forced into mainstream because they are so unique. They are up there with faith no more for me in a band under the radar but so horribly talented and important. Tool is very similar in their impact and growth of music.

Tool is next level stuff that is probably substantially before their time.

Also...

Rush is a better band than Led Zeppelin

Well yeah, but they are nerd music. There's so much going on with Tool that anyone that has a three second attention span (90% of society) they don't get it. Adam is nuts. He's not a technical monster on guitar per play style but his tone and presence are equaled only by Floyd, imho. Pure analog, standard pedals. Nothing fancy. But he feeds into a tube amp, back out to more pedals, and then to another tube... it's very bizarre but the tone is so unique and full.

Each member of Tool is essentially a savant in their area. Danny Carey is as good as there is. Same for MJK.

Yup. Nerd music. They actually sound better live than their albums because they twist most of their songs into something else live because it's personal... not a performance.
