Even as bad as UTEP is, 30 points are way too much for me to take with the Vols. I'll keep an eye on the halftime lines and see if there might be some value. But there are a lot more appetizing numbers for me to take. I will gladly bet on the Vols when the timing is right however. Really curious to see which way the line opens up and moves for the Florida game.
I probably won't touch that UF with a ten foot pole. This UTEP team has lost 14 games in a row, and I could see a scenario where Tennessee wins 45-10 or hopefully somewhere around in there. We'll see. Also needing UGA and Bama to cover.

Some of us want to see Dobbs get a chance to play

And some of us has big ben on their fantasy team.

I'm for Canelo, but I think GGG wins. I scored the last fight even, but I was a little biased. I called 2 rounds even which could have easily went to GGG. I will follow updates online, but will have to wait for the replay on HBO. All my bills are due this , so lack the funds to pay for it
Anyone gonna watch GGG Canelo 2 on Saturday? If so who ya got?
I always forget to add in the quotes until after I have written half my post

Why for Canelo? Especially after all that’s happened with the “tainted meat”.

Hope GGG cements his trip to the HOF this weekend

Idk, I was for Floyd when they fought and most of the time, I want to see Floyd lose or at least be in a war, which has never really happened. Some time after that fight I started liking Canelo. GGG is a machine, tho. I guess, really, I'm more for GGG losing than Canelo beating him. I want to see a war, but Canelo needs to box more than trying to go punch for punch with GGG

This is what you said before the WV game.

You just posted this.

So which is it? Did you bet for or against Tennessee in the WV game?

Edit - not that it matters. And i don't care that you claim to be a realist, I think you enjoy being a contrarian like Bruin does. To each their own. I'm terrible with names. But I can remember places and conversations forever, just wired that way. And I can remember inconsistencies in folks because it bugs the crap out of me.

That was a cheap shot that hit him in the elbow. Probably hit his funny bone. I have no doubt he really has no feeling in his fingers. But everyone is already looking towards the draft for a QB so there's that.
They'd probably draft that Finley kid from NC State. Ugh. Mariota's rookie deal ends this yr, right?

It’s been my experience that the role of leadership is either assigned or earned. Most failed leaders are leaders who gain their roles through assignment. The best leaders in my experience are the ones who take ownership. They’re role models. I think we continue to have a deficit of ownership on the part of many of our older players. You can’t be screwing up your assignments and expect others to listen to you preach to them. First take care of yourself and then you can help others. When I listen to some of our players talk I wonder if they learned how and what to say from Butch. When our players start talking more like Pruitt I think we’ll have taken significant strides forward with regards both to ownership and leadership. The greatest accountability should always be on the leaders. Some people are afraid of that accountability. The way to conquer that fear is to take ownership of your own performance, of the performance of your position group, of the performance of your unit, and of the performance of the entire team. I can see starting our small and working your way up but there are no shortcuts to developing genunie leadership. Effective leaders above all else have to be role models. Jmo.

I have a lot of kids (from 16 to 22), working for me. I’m going to print what you posted and use it for my next in service. A lot of people have no idea how some of these kids have had little or no direction in their lives. It’s so sad.

I'm not gonna sit here and downplay the likely extremely heavy rains and flooding from our Catagory 2 Hurricane Florence that's about to hit the Carolinas at a slow pace... but the Philippines are eating Super Typhoon Mangkhut right now... 200 mph wind gusts with 165 sustained winds, Lord knows how much storm surge and rain because our media barely covers it... a truly impressive storm... keep those across the globe in your prayers

Looks like it's heading to Thailand also. Nick be safe if it does reach. Same to ya'll on the coast.

Florida has no heart.

Those poor people are forced to evacuate AND made to watch the Gators?

I made my USCe friend aware of the Tennessee offer yesterday, as he’s evacuating. He said you couldn’t pay him to watch Tennessee.

I replied, “Well at least you don’t have to watch USCe lose to Marshall now.” 😏

He affirmed my long standing stance that Bentley is overrated. He and other fans thought he was the second coming. He’s let that balloon come back to earth
