I like the way Obama did nothing for so long, then sanctioned Russia as he left the building. Similar to his passion for drone warfare. Back fighter.

There was an alternate history book series where the US and USSR teamed up and divided the world. they realized the only ones holding them back were each other. much the same here, now. could probably do it without Russia, but it would make things easier.

I'm all in favor of it. Seems most in this thread are on one hand wringing hands about China and Russia getting closer and more powerful but on the other hand talking about how we need to punish Russia and distance ourselves from them - not sure how that solves the problem.

I believe Trump was in favor of better relations with Russia but everyone last their dang minds over that and instead want to isolate them even more. I don't get it.

I'm of the mind that pretty much happened during the Cold War.

Not too many neutral nations out there during those years.
