Yeah, regarding the whole "secret recruit" and even on up to "silent commits".. maybe we should just chill out on trying to crack these cases.

Messageboards already have the reputation of being drunken kneejerk rumorfests perpetuated by middle-aged guys with nothing else going on in their lives. I'd rather not add 'doxxing high schoolers' to that description. Especially since we already have Sab as a strike against us.

Even with public commits, there's nothing we can rest easy on until NSD anyway, so why even push the envelope with kids that don't want things publicized? Emphasis on "kids" too, because they're all still in high school. Football recruiting shouldn't be a fan-driven creepfest.

For the love of all that's holy, Bruin.
On a year in, year out basis, OL coaches add an average of 2 new starters to their line, amongst 3 that already have the system and techniques down.
We've been rotating at least 7, of which none have the system down and only 1 has good technique. That is beyond a "tall order", I don't care if you're the best OL coach in the country.

Just once, admit that we got lucky and stop doing your master-baiter bs.

For now, some quick observations…

*** After Phillip Fulmer spent Tuesday closely watching the offensive line, Pruitt spent the majority of the first period observing the unit. Tennessee’s head coach openly challenged Drew Richmond and Marcus Tatum for more physicality and repeated “Opportunity!” multiple times at freshman Jerome Carvin.

*** Similarly, tight ends coach Brian Niedermeyer was rather frustrated with his unit, specifically giving the business to Dominick Wood-Anderson and Latrell Bumphus.

*** The defensive line was back to working on 3-man fronts, with Emmitt Gooden moving around to multiple spots. The JUCO transfer got all his reps with the 2s, but he lined up at both nose and defensive tackle.

*** Tennessee’s quarterbacks and receivers spent an entire period working on red zone plays, with lots of rub/mesh routes to main focus.

*** Darrin Kirkland Jr. started the practice warming up on the bike, but the redshirt junior linebacker eventually joined his teammates during individual drills. Also, while senior Todd Kelly Jr. was slowly going through drills, the safety remains several weeks away from returning to the field.

I have no idea what you are asking me to admit. lol

Boys it truly is a mystery. I'm almost done looking up visits for ever 4/5 star CB we have offered.

Did someone say It is a CB? Person I'm thinking of has had a really quiet recruitment and been here several times with family as they have a good reason to be here a lot. Don't think he is a CB in rankings but doesn't mean he wouldn't be here I guess.

Personally I'd say we leave it alone. It seems to be a big deal to him that it stay quiet
