What’s coming out now is that she was on the wrong floor of the building and that she kept trying her key, but it obviously didn’t work. The guy that was killed heard the sounds at the door and opened the door to see what was going on. Shortly thereafter he was shot and killed.

I’d have an incredibly hard time believing she wasn’t under the influence of something.

If there isn't a difference between 15 minutes and 7 days, why would there be a difference in treatment? Why wouldn't they just say it within 15 minutes?

Beats me.... maybe it's department policy? Maybe they're trying to keep the calm because the officer was white and the victim is black?
Something about this stinks to high heaven and I think in the end it won't matter if they announced her name immediately afterwards.

If it is policy, then it is pizz poor policy. And I doubt if race plays a factor.

Dallas did have several cops shot down by a cop hater .... perhaps that is part of the reason

Civilians are not afforded the same treatment when compared to many fields where training and licensing is required.

They are still protected in ways that other civilians are not protected.......Im honestly not sure on the specifics but I am related to a county clerk and they have certain protections related to their job just like any profession has.
