I don’t care who you have playing, they should be better. Our guys are confused and very soft. They have no idea what they are doing.
Agreed they haven’t been coached until Friend arrived, but our progress is slow.
Perhaps they are trying to learn to many positions at once.
We got a little better as the game progressed but we can’t block a breeze.

This is crazy. Yes, it was ETSU. But, our co number one or number two back rushed for almost 6 yards a carry against WVU. Wait, he got over 80 yards AC, never mind. LOL I still think this line is a work in progress and agree that UT only has 2-3 guys that could start on most other SEC OL's. Friend had a top 35 rush O every year he was at CSU. CSU can't run for squat now. I think Friend will get it done. It will take some time. Let's hope the OL makes HUGE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE NEXT 14 DAYS. If KY can run all over UF, surely, UT can have success. I am not impressed with Franks either. I am hoping we get an ugly W vs UF!!! After all, UF did give up 303 yards rushing!!! =)

What this guy said! I watch most of the ky game and all of ours. I agree our lines on both sides of the ball will be our undoing...and as every knowledgeable sec fan knows...games in the sec are won at the line of scrimmage...we aren't the weak 10 or the puss 12...or the Almost Competitive Conference..this is real Big Boy Football!

This is a dumb thread. Doesn't matter who we have coaching the OL. We simply don't have enough good experienced players right now.

Butch left us at ground zero in experience and knowledge of how to play football. Basically everyone on the team is a freshman in experience in this new system. You get better with every game hopefully we'll see a vast improvement against Texas El Paso.

How dare we not have exceptional turnaround is less than a year? I mean really. These guys should be playing at the same level as every good team in the SEC right now. It's not like those ETSU players don't lift the same size weights as us, right? Oh, wait...

I place more blame on the DUI o-line coach we had last year.....what was his name? A lot of people on here thought he was going to be the o-line and recruiting savior........Walt Wells, it just hit me....lol. He was such a douche.

They played just fine 3 of the last 4 quarters and we won by more than we have won a game in years.

Some of y'all have lost your damn mind and forgotten what is a reasonable expectation. Ole Miss got 40 hung on them by an FCS team and y'all are mad we didn't average 10 yards a carry all game.
