According to some on here, he was a finished product last year and had no room for growth. They dont want to acknowledge that he didnt have a qb coach his fresh year. And last year he had an incompetent coach has his qb coach. This is his first year with real coaching.[/QUOTE]

I’d settle for them all being able to get their assignments down each play and get a body on a body.

If they can just get to that point, I think we have the skill players to be decent on offense.

Jordan needs to follow his blocks better too. Dude runs hard and can break tackles, but he’s gotta learn to follow the big guys on those inside runs.

I remember a highly coveted recruit (cant remember the name) that visited fsu over the summer. He told 247 that the new coaches at fsu arent serious about winning. They are more focused on the optics... that goes along with the postgame comments taggart made after the vt game.

Mississippi state is in the situation Washington was a few years ago.

Sarkisian takes the USC job and they end up with Chris F’n Peterson, a better coach then they had.

I believe that’s happening with Moorehead.

Just made it home and settled in. Thoughts/observations:
  1. Bryce Thompson can tackle in space.
  2. The offense finally woke up
  3. We will have a very good defense by the end of the year.
  4. Defensive communication is really noticeable. Several on-field coaches out there.
  5. If Guarantano can time the deep balls better, we will score some points.
  6. The OL still needs help. Mixed results, but they got better as the game went on.
  7. We have coaches that make adjustments. We will not be out coached this year.
  8. My daughter thinks the Sunsphere is a disco ball.

I dont think our OL will get much better. They're just bad players who have been taught a different scheme
