Amateur Hour Continues

I'll liken it do AIDS. It was years before the general population recognized it as a catastrophe. Global warming is another example. You will not see the effects of the catastrophe until it is to late to avoid the catastrophe. Trump is the catastrophe, some of the effects are now visible and some will only become more visible with time. Many will never attribute the effects to Trump.
Yeah, I like your analogy better than my Category 5 hurricane.

Let me change a few words if you will. You seem to think that word is harsh but I find it an adequate descriptor. No sense in arguing about it. What would you find as an adequate negative descriptor for Trump?
For Trump?
Bombastic narcissist.
Big mouth bully.
Corrupted.
Immoral.
Self promoter.
Untrustworthy.

Those suit you?

Yeah, I figured someone who's so black and white in their thinking couldn't have a rational discussion about this. By the way, you left out most of my post in the"descriptors" you listed. Well done. That's the problem with most of you, you can't see the forest for the trees.
I dont agree with all of your list. I dont feel like arguing. It's okay to have different political ideologies. I dont feel the need to convince you.
I did try to remain on point with the catastrophe theme though.

I did say a lot of this is perspective. I do like your list though. I could add more but you'd wanna argue. LOL By the way, I generally find you pretty rational and somewhat agreeable about most things.

He is one of the better ones and should be treated as such.

Why thank you but you’ll have to come up with a more accurate tag for me , I’m about as close to being a socialist as Mick is to being Trumps caddy .
Happy-go-vol dun tole me uddawise, you commie. I just remembered how much I miss his posts.

Generally I think only Huff, DTH and a couple others are devoid of any socialism. If you're one, glad to know ya.

As with TT, I say cool. Your forecast is for the impending catastrophe.
Good to see you finally agreeing the catastrophe is not visible right now.
Wrong. I say the effects of the current catastrophe are not obvious to all. All catastrophes don't have instantly observable effects. Some play out over longer periods of time.

See now you threw in an extra word here on me ( any ) socialism . You can’t live in this country and not be a part of the term social . We have safety nets built in ( fire , police, SS federally insured banks) but I’m old enough to remember the words socialism and communism are brothers . I don’t see this New Democrat socialism as anything other than an old idea with a new dress on with some bows and bells .

I’m curious ... what if , bare with me now , just what if the last 8 years of Barry was the catastrophe and we are just going through the birthing Pains that make it right again ? You do know this is how the other side looks at it right ?

Perhaps you can let the dictionary editors know you disagree with the definition.
...involving or causing sudden great damage or suffering.

I do indeed. I view it a little like the "is the earth flat or round" debate. Both sides feel equally strong in their rightness.

No, you use that term to inflict maximum negative connotations because of that association. You and others have been duped into taking up the battle of the capitalists. We will have a better society if we have a healthy and educated population. You rail against clean air, the environment to promote capitalistic greed at the expense of health, education, and the environment. There is a balance but you cannot give the keys to the wellbeing of American society to the corporate masters and expect to be a healthy and educated society.

If socialism and its tenets are good, how can the word be used for max damage? Are you not making a case for socialism in your post?
