I'm a newer Vol fan. Moved to TN in 2006 so I'm still studying my Vols history. Would RS be accepted by the fan base? A couple of my buddies that I have season tickets with would always yell "Boo Sanders" every time we would run three straight plays up the middle. So I kind of assumed although he played and coached here the fan base wouldn't be happy with him.

I can only speak for myself, and as a life-long Vol...Sanders, as the saying goes, bleeds orange. He will always hold a special place in my heart for not only bleeding orange, but for the game he called the night we won the NC. I love the guy, but I have never once thought about him as our HC. I'm not going to trash him, ever; but, there are MANY more that are out there that's better, no matter where they come from.
