As much as I like and believe in Pruitt, he's a hired gun. I'd like to see the program one day be able to hire another Majors/Fulmer type in which he's truly a Tennessee guy, and he's also one of the best coaches in the country. Can't imagine the hype there would be if Tennessee hired a guy coming off a national title like they did Majors in 77. What a time to have been alive lol.Funny you say this. I work with a Bama fan and a Florida fan. The Florida fan played football for ETSU back in the 90's and still has ties to the program. They both told me the day Saunders was hired at ETSU that the plan is for him to come back and be the HC at UT. I personally don't see it and see it as an opportunity for Saunders to be close to home. Although I'm not sure if they totally believe that or not or if they are just giving me a hard time.
I'm a newer Vol fan. Moved to TN in 2006 so I'm still studying my Vols history. Would RS be accepted by the fan base? A couple of my buddies that I have season tickets with would always yell "Boo Sanders" every time we would run three straight plays up the middle. So I kind of assumed although he played and coached here the fan base wouldn't be happy with him.As much as I like and believe in Pruitt, he's a hired gun. He would have to absolutely kill it at ETSUI'm a newer Vol fan. Moved to TN in 2006 so I'm still studying my Vols history. Would RS be accepted by the fan base? No way folks would be ok with Randy. He'd have to kick serious ass at ETSU for that to go over at all IMO. Not sure Randy is thought of to be some great coach either.I'm a newer Vol fan. Kind of what I assumed. Especially if my buddies at work habe been saying it over and over haha. I know he was at FSU when they had some success but he doesn't seem like a big time coach. I really think he took the ETSU job to be closer Morristown. No way folks would be ok with Randy. He'd have to kick serious ass at ETSU for that to go over at all IMO. Pretty sure Fulmer got him that job at ETSU. He's always wanted to be a head coach. I think he did a pretty good job when he was at Kentucky as well.Kind of what I assumed. Hit up Martha Stewart and axe her if they go easy on people they nab for insider trading.
And what most people don't realize is in the federal system sentencing is based heavily on prior criminal history. So the whole premise of that article is he's facing 25 years. That's what the maximum penalty for that offense is. Doesn't mean he would get anywhere near that amount of time. I'm not sure whay his criminal history looks like but I highly doubt it is anything that would get him significant time.James Comey’s book discusses her case. He says that the reason she went to jail was she continually lied to investigators and wouldn’t come clean, even when confronted with the evidence.
This guy has already pleaded guilty and his take is pretty small in the context of the financial world. So I doubt the punishment will be severe. JMO, of course
