A lot of times those negative takes are telling someone how stupid they are for having an optimistic opinion. There are ways to say things without mocking, etc. it isn’t the take so much as the way it’s presented.

Obviously this isn’t always the case. Some will attack any negative comment just as some will attack any positive comment.

No worries. Our fans are notoriously forgiving and patient. If our line play is poor going forward and we lose 8 games, they will accept Kennedy’s injury as a reasonable explanation and won’t at all demand that Tennessee fans “hold this staff accountable” or start told ya so threads about firing him.

I'll own that. I was younger and have grown as a person. I'm as passionate a fan as most and it drove me crazy people didn't see it my way. I can handle and appreciate that some just wanna be fanatics now.

I don't care for the constant harsh attacks toward either side and they do come from a select few on both ends.

We all learn as we grow older. I’m a bit older than you but to be honest I’ve taken a cue from you lately and tried to yl;sm. I’m not always successful but I’m trying. I’m also learning to allow people to have their opinions even if I view them as unnecessarily negative. Again, I’m not always successful at that either lol.
