That, to me, looks like Warrior taking an awful angle. Osborne hits and forces Stills more inside and Warrior tries to open the hips to change angles after he’s already committed to meeting the ball carrier 2 yds further down the field. I think if Warrior tries to lay a hit there he misses both guys and goes flying out of the play.
I don't want to get in the middle of your spat. I'm fairly new to the conversation so I don't know what point/agenda everyone has. However did you see the play that Sills was "forced out" of bounds, came back in, and caught a 15ish yard pass. After he caught it he ran about 10ish yards. Warrior comes up and completely avoids tackling him. I'm not saying he is trash. And I'm not a "sky is falling" fan. But let's be real. I can't think of a reason he didn't attempt to tackle him besides laziness/lack of effort. My 7 y/o who doesn't play football could notice that.Dude I could watch the tape a million times and I will never stoop low enough to question a player "not even trying". Only the lowest common demomitor fan that has never played a sport would think Warrior "didn't even try".
Ingnroance
I usually give some credence to what Matthews' says, but he's wrong there. R. Johnson was the one that missed the call...he went right by his assignment to find a linebacker to block, which wasn't necessary with the play that had been called.

That being sad I don't have a problem with our staff, execution (it's week 1 of new systems on both sides of the ball), or game plan. I think Helton would admit he made some mistakes and I have confidence he'll clean them up as the season progresses and he gains experience.
But in my opinion there is no excuse for the play described above.
