The biggest factor that will determine if we become elite again is this staff’s ability to recruit and the boosters upping their cheat game to Bama levels. I really believe that if we are ever going to beat Bama/GA again either the NCAA will have to put a stop to all of it or we are going to have to get equally dirty.

Agree with Georgia, not so sure about Bama.

Kirby did almost lose to Nichols in year 1. Last year was great, still not sure about his in game coaching or Cheney. He’s killing it in recruiting though.

Main reason I think so is the collective championship rings from multiple schools this staff has and Pruitt coming from the Saban pedigree. The only difference is Pruitt is a first time head coach. That’s it. These guys know what it takes to win in multiple programs and conferences, as players and coaches, and even a Heisman to boot. With the same talent I think it is a wash with Bama. It’s all about the guys on the field right now.

Look, all I said I was sure if Pruitt was ready for this job. It turned into Butchna doing what he thinks his duty is by calling out anyone that has opinion that's anything other than sunshine and unicorns.

I've repeatedly said I like Pruitt but he's got a tremendous task ahead of him. The game this weekend had no bearing on that thought. I said that when he was hired. I hope he succeeds.

You misportrayed me with all this goofy white knight can’t handle dissent bullshizz and then double downed with ole negavol standby’s like sunshine and unicorns. If this is what you’ve turned into then have peace with it...you were a good one.

If we could find even one it would cover for a WORLD of sins on defense. I'm convinced that Derek Barnett covered up as much DL dysfunction as Dobbs did OL dysfunction.

Almost all coaches get fired. Hired to be fired so doesn’t matter. At some point most fail.
