#22 on Defense and #70 on offense shouldn’t play anymore. They both suck. Replacing them won’t fix all our problems but will certainly help.

Richmond is still Richmond and Kongbo is still Kongbo. Coaching change didn’t help them

I'm not worked up at all. I'm enjoying abusing the heck out of Butchna. He's been riding around on his white horse all day trying to slay anyone that dare says one negative word. It's his stick, ya know.

Wierd thing is a few weeks back I made a post saying that this game would tell us very very little about our defense and nearly everyone agreed. Now that game has taken place everyone wants to act like the sky is falling on D.

Bottom line is we should have only given up 10 the first half. Once we fell behind we took more chances and it blew the game open. Too early to tell Against that good of an offense how good our D will he

Yup. Not only were we facing a top tier offense, but it seems everyone has forgotten that Saturday was this defense’s first game in a completely new system (Same applies to the offense, although that should be an easier transition). Against WVU we should not be surprised to see busted coverages and the LBs being a touch slow on reads/ reacting.

Only natural for him to be, I guess. If he could settle in at that LG, kick JJ out to RT, and Carvin take over at RG, with Kennedy and Trey, and then they play some games together, build that continuity, not to mention that bond of playing together...yes, very much needs polishing, but I do like the potential. Jhamir Johnson is gonna be a stud, I think...he's one mean mo fo...just needs the weight.

I did notice at the fame that we overthrew a dcreepass and number 58 not sure because my program was saturated with sweat absolutely mauled his guy for 5 yds and slammed his ass to the turf with the best pancake block I have seen in a while. Even my wife commented that he looked like he was going to kill that guy.

I'll tell you exactly what we have. Remember when we played Oregon? Well that's a lot what we looked like in terms of comparing our linemen on both sides of the ball to every other legit team. We are painfully slow on defense - no pass rush. However, we do have talent at QB, WR, RB and I think the OL will improve.

Talent wise we're upgraded at the skills positions but otherwise Butch left us exactly the way he found us.

Not hard to spot a coaching with a losing record in 3 different stops.

Flame away, but I don’t see that big of a difference in our coaching staff than that of Bama and Georgia now. We just don’t have the horses.

The biggest factor that will determine if we become elite again is this staff’s ability to recruit and the boosters upping their cheat game to Bama levels. I really believe that if we are ever going to beat Bama/GA again either the NCAA will have to put a stop to all of it or we are going to have to get equally dirty.
