being a Vol fan is hard on the whole family..........lol. what made it even worse for me is when we left the stadium, me and my youngest got seperated from my wife and my oldest. they went completely the opposite direction of where we were parked.

my frustration with the game combined with that mishap....

well, let's just say, it was a good thing i didn't verbalize anything til now............

Wouldn't hurt my feelings if we didn't see Kongbo out there as much anymore. I'm sorry but the dude plays like Jane out there. He's been front and center of the off season hype machine for what feels like 5 years and he still hasn't done jack shart. Not a believer.

Damn, Saban jumped all over Maria Taylor's ass in that postgame interview lol. Hope nobody looked at her from behind afterwards because I'm pretty sure she **** her pants. That was funny as hell.

All I wanted to see today was improvement as an overall team over last year. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. The defense was especially depressing. Atrocious at every position.

Not gonna lie I'm really surprised that we got worked like that today. I thought we would lose but I was fairly confident we'd compete.

One of the problems is the coaches learning what these guys can do in games. They haven't seen that first hand until today.

I'm glad they have some cupcakes to work out some kinks, but at least they have tape against a legit opponent now.

A lot of areas they can improve between now and Florida.

Today sucked. No doubt.

However, one difference I saw was that at no point did I feel like we were completely lost out on the field. Guys got out played, and burnt on a few routes, but it never seemed like the disarray that seemed to pop up through out the Butch era.

Everyone will feel better after next Saturday.

The biggest gains are made from week one to week two.

And who’s going to “feel better” after ETSU?

There is zero upside. Only downside if we don’t win convincingly enough.

I just rewatched the game. I don't think anybody quit, but some guys just don't have much spunk. I don't think the team as a whole played horrible...but some guys..

Grier dropped two passes into Jennings that could have easily been dropped or knocked away. One was a TD I think on 3rd down, and the other was a huge third down play in a drive that they eventually scored on. The coverage on both was actually pretty decent, but I think as the young DBs learn to play the ball better that passes like those will be TOs or knockdowns, but Grier and Jennings just made the plays, good players do.

I will say this..If/when he has an off day, or they run into a little better pass rushing team...WVU is going to get smoked. They got nothing else. Our run D was actually decent I thought for the most part till they tired late.
