Message from Trey Smith

Our starting offensive lineman are all 300+ I believe. Kennedy is at least 305 if not bigger at Center..... West Virginia D Line is going to have a lot of trouble and I heard Kennedy is just as mean as Trey. Carvin is mean as well.
Hey chizzle, you’re right, I forgot that our offensive line has everyone over 300 pounds. This could be an Alabama stacked line? Huh? An offensive line that no one wants to mess with this year. WVU, WILL FRIEND SAYS HIGH!!!

I would not be surprised if our new pro set didn't have some run plays to run off left tackle. Am I an genius or what?:):):)

Just looked at WV starting DE's. One weighs 270lbs and the other weighs 264lbs. Mr. Smith is 320lbs and can move. These WV boys gonna have a hard time getting to JG. I don't think I'm going on a limb when I say its gonna be a frustrating day for anyone trying to get to JG's blind side!!
GBO!!
With a FB coming into the line behind Trey, UT rushes for 300+. Chandler will break one for about 70 or more in 4th qtr. Book it Dano!!!! WGWTFA!!!

Yeah, WVa’s DL had a freaking field day today against that JV OL that Friend ran out there.

I like the comparisons of our OL weight and WV Dline weight. Apparently, UTs Achilles are small dlines like Appalachia State, GT, and WV.

He’s really good, even special, but I doubt he’s the best in the country.
May not be but hes also about what 2 weeks into full contact since his FR year ended when it was questionable if he would ever take another snap.

Please point to the great seasons by any offensive lineman over the past few seasons, great games maybe? But, by no means has anyone on the oline been great and he sure as heck wasn't today.

If Trey Smith as a FR AA doesn't count then you got me. Last I checked they dont hand those out for a good game.

You can play for a bad coach on a bad team and still be an outstanding player that had a great year.

Did you miss the several pancakes he had? Did you see the holes he opened up. Yes pass protection could have been better by a wide margin.

But to say Trey didn't have a great season last year is just crazy.

And FTR he didnt play well today. I'm sure he'd be the first to admit that. He ll be the best OL on this team until he leaves after next year for the draft and his first round selection if he stays healthy.

He is a tackle. His job is to protect the quarterback

That's a little harsh the only issue with our line was our Center play and that got straightened out. You are being super critical on the first game of the season. Everything will get better.
