Really? Considering how many freshmen UT played, I thought we did alright at CB. Now the safeties and DL sucked, imo

I think this season is all about perspective. Do we play hard, do make some big hit, some big plays. We all know we are gonna give up some big plays and we are gonna lose some games, but you just gotta try and enjoy watching football. It’s not about lowering expectations and accepting losing every year but at some point you just gotta enjoy some football.

I talked up GT after that disaster of a game last year. I’m not gonna pump up WVU this year. We didn’t play well.

Should have had safeties as well.
Guess I should have worded everything better. I'm not down on our freshmen not being ready, my point is they are freshmen and thats what we have. Can't change that.

That's gonna hurt in several games.

They'll get better as the season progresses, but they won't get any faster.

I agree with you to an extent but I don’t think GT had the expectations or the quality of team this WV team does. I don’t exactly think they will go to the playoffs but they will probably make some noise at some point this year.

Their offense is legit. I’m disappointed we only scored 14 on their defense.

It was tough to watch, but you have to put things in perspective, I guess. Would have been nice to have a cupcake our first game. I don't believe WVU is an elite team, but they're not East Iowa State CC.

I feel like if you feel THAT much worse then your hopes were too high to begin with.
