I think I have figured out why Pruitt and this staff have done such a good job up to this point.

Most first time head coaches make some learning on the job mistakes. Heck, some don’t even know what group to be around for practice.

But not Pruitt - he has been comfortable from Day 1. He knew exactly what he wanted and started plowing forward.

Why?

He isn’t a first time head coach. I think his experience as high school coach is really an advantage. He knows how to coach. He isn’t the CEO type. He is a down in the trenches with you type of coach.

And those are also the type of assistant coaches he hired.

I haven’t been this excited for UT football in a long while - there is something new, exciting to be a part of.

We all have hope that this is it. That he is the right guy.

No one else understands except us.

But our climb back to the top starts tomorrow and it sure is hell isnt starting brick by brick.
Read the above quote, got fired up!
Visited the pick the score thread, crashed hard. Don't toy with my emotions bro.
42 - 27 WVU

218 yards rushing

Then he wins. I can't do it. I know, I know...I just can't bring myself to do it, because I think that's part of what he likes. I'm sure it is glorious though.
No, what he likes are people to respond to him. That's what he feeds on. If no one would respond, he would go away or change his ways.

I'm embarrassed to admit this, being a 40 year old man... but when I think of how close we are to actual football again, and the beginning of the Pruitt era... I get this almost euphoric wave. Can't wait to be at the stadium tomorrow and feel the energy. Then come back home and re-watch the game.

Germans film Jim Otto walking around his house. They like long, painful drawn out images.
Yeah. I saw a special on him a few years ago both knees shot and back/shoulder issues. Those guys played back then for the love of the game. It was a fall/winter job. Everyone had a spring/ summer job. Imagine if guys today had to have a second job yo make ends meet🤔🤣

I actually joined so I could put him on ignore. Although I would skip past his posts, I couldn't stop myself from reading them to see what someone was responding to lol.

Gale Sayers medical journey is a tragedy. Witch doctor science on his knee ended up costing both. He was a stockbroker in the offseason.

Just got into Charlotte, was 98, then it rained, and temp dropped 20 degrees. Hope it stays hot and humid for tomm, defenfisve depth will hurt wvu!

As it stands now:

Trey

Chandler
Warrior
Callaway
Jennings

Bituli
Tuttle
Sapp

Everyone else.

I'm sure opinions of this will change after tomorrow, and then again by Florida. I'm only looking at folks that we have film on.

Jennings is a competitor, a dog, the alpha. He's a playmaker. He isn't the best pure football player or the most athletic guy on the team.

Enjoy it with your kids
