Josh Dobbs (merged)

Hell, I don't know if Dobbs will make the Steelers or not, but he is ballin' like his job depended on it, tonight. 4ever the gamer

I think he's playing for a shot at a trade tonight.
Well, I hope Dobbs gets a chance somewhere in the NFL. If Tyler Bray can stay in the NFL for 5+ years, hopefully Dobbs can too. Pretty sure, after 5 years in the NFL, u get a pension. Although, I don't think Dobbs will ever be an every game starter, I think he can be a decent back-up, that might get a chance to shine in a couple of regular season games. Great young man and ambassador for UT. Wish him nothing but the best

Lol, the replies on those tweets. It's like D4H created a bunch of Twitter accounts.

Nah. Some Steelers fans are actually smart and can see when greatness is staring them in the face.

Josh Dobbs is clearly better than Landry Jones and Mason Rudolph. Only a moron would choose those 2 stiffs over him. We'll find out in a few days whether the Steelers GM is a moron.

As they say, players know. They know who can play and who can't. Just check out these comments from Dobbs Steelers teammates: Steelers talk Joshua Dobbs as a future opponent

Joshua Dobbs is an NFL quarterback. Mike Tomlin thinks so. Dobbs' Steelers teammates agree. The 2017 fourth-round pick said he still plans on being a starter in the league. He proved plenty to his teammates', his head coach's and his own point Thursday night as he led the Steelers through consecutive scoring drives Thursday night in Pittsburgh's 39-24 preseason-ending win against the Carolina Panthers.

It's left Dobbs happy with his play and his fellow Steelers impressed, but also, when asked, considering the former Tennessee star as a future opponent. They noted his mobility, which he showcased throughout his quarter-plus of play behind a makeshift offensive line on Thursday, and largely stated their preference to keep him as a teammate.

"Man, I hope Dobbs on my team. Because I know you saw what he did tonight. That boy a baller man. He's always been a baller, so man, I hope he's on our team. I don't know what the whole coaching, their situation with everybody [is]," Terrell Edmunds said. "I'm not trying to be a coach, I'm not trying to pick the team, but at the same time you'd be glad to have him on your team than against you." "He balled as we can see. And we all see it."

Nat Berhe simply wanted to continue sharing a locker room with Dobbs. "Well I hope not man," Berhe said of the prospect of playing Dobbs. "I think Dobbs is a hell of a player and, you know, I wouldn't want to go against him." "Oh man, he's unstoppable. You haven't seen him?"

Dobbs teammates know he's gonna be great. They see what I see.

OT John Kelly didnt play, so Im guessing he has a roster spot on the Rams
Yeah, no doubt Kelly made the team. I'm predicting 5-9 touches in the first game, just to see what he can do. If he produces, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up averaging around 10 touches per game for the whole season. Gurley's a stud, but it's the NFL and he has had some injuries and I'm sure McVey wants to keep him fresh for the playoffs. So if the Rams are as good as they were last year, there will be plenty of chances for Kelly to shine.

Raiders fan here, of course that is complete nonsense.
His best season was the year after Gruden left in 2002 .. otherwise, a guy with some of the best WRs in history (Rice, Brown, Rison) probably could have eclipsed 30 TDs at least once. Heck, Charlie Garner was a force for them receiving out of the backfield too but even with all of that, it took Gruden leaving for Gannon to go over 4k in yards.

By comparison, (Bucs fan here) Brad Johnson's numbers looked very much the same after Gruden started coaching him.

That doesn’t fit with his Raiders career. He had some epic seasons with Gruden and one with Callahan.

3800 yards was about his max with Gruden along with 28 TDs. His best season was certainly with Callahan but I always felt with the quality of WRs he had he would have eclipsed the 4k/30TD marks with ease.

All 3 of those WRs were past their prime and so was Garner. Btw, nice underhanded shot at Garner, who was a damn good and productive NFL RB. Of course, I wouldn't expect anything less from a Georgia fan.

Damn. Ya'll are really hung up on that? You do know I don't even consider going to Duke to be that big of a deal. If I even applied myself halfway in high school, I wouldn't have been wait listed at Harvard and Yale and would have gotten in easily. I got into Duke without even trying.

The universe and this post determines you're a troll. You should already know that. Btw, your post and all the other posts are just excuses to justify your inability to cope with reality. Actually, why even respond since you're a troll?
