WVMule and others have suggested how great their WR's are... and at other times have dismissed UT's talent. Thought these videos might help. Jennings being lost last year had as much impact on the season and probably the fate of Jones as the loss of Hunter did on the '11 season and perhaps the fate of Dooley.

If Jennings and Callaway play as a tandem like this... UT's O is going to shock a lot of people:

At around the 6:15 mark... you can see Jennings embarrass a current pro CB, Teez Tabor

Never remembered the announcer saying "5 4 3 2 1, give him six" at the end of the calloway video. Thats really cool actually. Was that on the tv broadcast?

Ya know, I can appreciate your linking us these videos. But really, did you think any of us hadn't seen JJ embarrassing his son? Every moment of that is permanently etched in our minds. Wouldn't surprise me if some of us have it downloaded to our smart phones just in case they meet Tabor walking down a street in the next thirty years. Try linking this to a WV site; Trust me, we know.

So good to have guys like Jauan back to give us that dog attitude. GBO

Watching JJs highlight reel, I had forgotten how many times he has actually been wrestling with a DB on the ground for the ball. JJ doesn't lose many one on one, he's a bad man. I'd like to see isolation video on JJ when he's blocking away from the play, the times I've watched him rather than the ball, he literally mugs his assignment.

Did you see the title of the thread? I'm not on any WVU boards. Just didn't feel like messing with that this year. Feel free to share though if you are.

I've just been amazed at the condescending attitude even from the more polite WVU posters concerning the talent on UT's roster. WVMule obviously thinks they have the greatest WR's ever... but one of the reasonable posters picked up on that theme and pushed it too and was dismissive of UT's WR talent.

Those two beasts on the outside and let us not forget Brandon Johnson in the slot, who had 575 yards last year. If DWA lives up to the billing, we're going to have four very good targets in 11 personnel packages. Our 12 package should be nice too with DWA, Eli Wolf, Jennings and Callaway all on the field.

This tandem has a chance to be really good! Add in the fact that by many accounts, Josh Palmer (many on here are down on him but he did start the majority of his freshman season and the spring game so obviously many people much better at evaluating talent than any of us, think he's gonna be really good!)had the best fall camp of the whole group, Jordan Murphy sounds like a freakish athlete, Tyler Byrd has been grossly misused and inconsistent, the freshman Tillman sounds like a diamond and lethal deep threat and just to top it off Brandon Johnson is our most underrated, and consistent receiver. Oh and dont forget by all accounts we now a monster tight end and several other decent ones. Everyone is hyping WV'S wr's but our group has a chance to be one of the best in the country.

Well, when our talent results in winning games, dance around and shake your butt at them. We went 4-8 last year. Until the Vols kick WV teeth in, let em talk. Odds are we very well may still suck this year, at least for the first few games. When it becomes obvious to the world that the Vols have shed the suckiness by how well they play on the field? Then will be the time to talk about it.

So you believe UT went 4-8 last year because of a lack of talent, right? That's the implication of what you wrote.

Why are the "odds" that UT sucks? Because you are cynical following Jones? If you believe there's no talent then we can just disagree at this point. If not then what makes the "odds" favor UT "sucking"?

Sometimes Bob gets too much hate from our fanbase, but that was an opportunity for something iconic. Instead, he gave us the equivalent of a Hotels.com commercial.

No, we had just been served up an inch thick porterhouse and Bob poured vomit on it.
