SCUTTLE: Tennessee is one of four schools who have optimism about landing the South Florida pass rusher. Miami, Ole Miss and Alabama are all serious contenders for the Top 50 prospect. The biggest hurdle for the Vols is withstanding a slew of official visits. Bogle is scheduled to attend the Florida game unofficially. Bringing his mom along would seriously help Tennessee's chances.

Looks like LSU is going to murder Miami in Richt’s third year. Could help us with this one especially if he likes the idea of early playing time in the SEC

I thought the same thing. Granted we got manhandled but West Virginia will be a good team. LSU will not. Their offense will get exposed in the SEC.

Yes and we are building a team and played a great QB who made some great plays against a young defense with a new scheme. Miami is in its third year with Richt and is going to get run off the field against a team that won’t even win their division in the SEC.

You can sell winning or you can sell building. Miami is doing neither at this point.

But, Miami has elite talent a mile away from their campus and more recent success to show for and doesn't play Bama every year.

LSU would beat WVU by as much as WVU beat us

You're delusional. WVU deserved their ranking and Will Grier deserves the Heisman hype. Some of the throws he made, though they were daggers in my heart, they were just perfect things of beauty. If they can avoid the injury bug, WVU has the chance to be very successful this year, IMO.

Recent success against who exactly? You don’t lose by three touchdowns plus (where this game is headed) against a comparable program in your third year and sell winning or building. No elite coach at a premier program does that. So either richt is not elite or Miami is not elite. Recruits know that Tennessee can be elite, but Richt is proving that Miami is not.

Just my two cents about the situation in general, idk how a particular 18 yr old kid will feel about it.

Thank you! Some of those throws were unbelievable, and even the routine ones were perfectly placed and in stride. Also, their dline was greatly improved with 2 grad transfers and an extremely productive 5 star nose tackle. We should have exploited the passing game matchups more but WVU was legit yesterday and with their passing game rolling we were outmatched, as most teams would be.

Honestly, with Bogle, I really do think it comes down to what Momma wants. If she okays him coming to UT, I think we get him, but if she sticks to her guns about staying close to home, he's a Hurricane. He may not win championships in Miami, but he can make it to the NFL.
